At a young age, Woody accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and became a faithful member of Salen United Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School class served as church clerk for 39 years. Woody was an educator, supporting and representing teachers as the Kentucky
Educational Association (KEA) Uniserv Director for the Middle Cumberland Region for over 37 years. He also enjoyed farming in his spare time.
Survivors include his devote and loving wife. Alice Cooper Gosser;
three children, Amy (Kevin) O'Dell, John Gosser, and Joe (Julianne) Gosser;
one brother, Wayne Gosser; two grandchildren; Andy O'Dell, Anna Gosser;
a host of supportive cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and
a special caregiver, Connie Worley
In addition to his parents, Woody was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Gosser.
Funeral service for Woody Gosser will be 11 AM. Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Salem United Baptist Church with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating.
Visitation 4-8 PM. Sunday at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel and after 8 AM. Monday at the funeral home.
Interment in the Square Oak Cemetery
Pallbearers: Wayne Gosser, John Gosser, Joe Gosser, Samuel Gosser, Kevin O'Dell, and Jorge Garcia.
