Bernice Myers Eubank Cook

 Mrs. Bernice Myers Eubank Cook of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her home. Born on May 7, 1926 to the late George and Nettie Grace (Wilson) Myers, she was 92 years, 7 months, and 23 days of age. She was a homemaker of the Christian faith, and enjoyed farming and raising flowers. She united in marriage to Harry Eubank, who preceded her in death in 1974. She later united in marriage to Dallas Cook, who preceded her in death in 1990.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
   Two children: Danny Eubank and wife Kay of Campbellsville, and Bonnie Johnson of Elk Horn,
   A brother and two sisters: Simon Myers of Campbellsville, Nettie Cox of Campbellsville, and Frances Johnson of Elk Horn,
   Two grandchildren: Amanda J. Walden and fiancé Daniel Dicken, and Cindy Edelen and husband Troy,
   One great-grandchild: Peyton Walden,
   And a host of other relatives and friends.

   She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Myers.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Cook on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Dickie Rogers will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, W Main St, Campbellsville, KY.
   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 after 5:30 PM.

Daniel Keith “Danny” Bryant, Sr., of Campbellsville, the son of the late Woodrow and Ora Bell (Perkins) Bryant, was born June 9, 1952 in Taylor County and departed this life on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home. He was 66 years of age.

          He was a General Contractor of Plumbing and Electrical, a furniture craftsman and was of the Baptist Faith.

          Survivors include his wife: Patsy (Moore) Bryant of Campbellsville; two sons: Daniel Keith Bryant, Jr and wife Lucretia of Summersville and Patrick Lyndon Bryant and fiancé Amanda Spoon of Greensburg; a brother: Kenneth Ray Bryant and wife Carol of Vine Grove; fourteen very special grandchildren: Keith, Wayne, Brittany, Kimberlyn, Codie, Blake, Jade, Gavin, Madison, Conner, Elizabeth, Kayla, Tyler and Jamison; twelve great-grandchildren; a close sister-in-law: Judy Dile and special friends: Sherman Dean Gillock, Todd Ford and Ricky Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.

          Besides his parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by a son: Woodrow Thomas Bryant, three brothers: Arvin Bryant, Louis Henry Bryant, Sr and Randall Bryant and two sisters: Pearline Bryant and Christine Bryant.

          The funeral service for Daniel Keith “Danny” Bryant, Sr. will be Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Robinson Creek Cemetery with Rev. Willie Richerson officiating.
          Family requests visitation after 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday until time for the service at the funeral home.

Jerry Wayne Kelsay, 67, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, December 28, 2018 at 8:10 P.M. at Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton.  He was born April 14, 1951, in Adair County, to the late Paul and Alene Kimbler Kelsay. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Haylee Kelsay and a step-daughter; Maranda Young. 

Jerry was a former construction worker.

His wife – Faye Hoover Kelsay of Columbia
Three sons and daughters-in-law – Mike and Stacey Kelsay of Columbia, Bryan and Cristy Kelsay of Burkesville, Bradley and Melissa Kelsay of Columbia
Three step-children – David Cooper and wife Marilyn of Tennessee, Greg Cooper and wife Lisa, Pam Holt and husband Danny all of Columbia

Three sisters – Pauline Robinson of Campbellsville, Wanda Hatcher of Columbia, Mary Bush of Tennessee

Lee “Mac” Janes

Lee “Mac” Janes, 77, of Memphis, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bee and Jessie Janes, a sister Faye Hauf and a brother-in-law Travis Paul Scott.  
 
Mr. Janes is survived by his daughter, Deana Cail (Danny), grandchildren Kristen Cail and Erik Cail and his siblings Don Janes (Bev), Dale Janes (Brenda), Pam Scott and Angie Wise (Willard).  
 
Mr. Janes worked 40 years as a Journeyman for Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #4 in Memphis.  His favorite hobbies include Bass fishing and Nascar Racing.  
 
The Family will receive family and relatives on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 10:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Memorial Park Funeral Home.  In Lieu of Flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

Donald “Buck” Campbell

Donald “Buck” Campbell, 79, of Columbia passed away peacefully Friday, December 28, 2018.  Born in Adair County he was the son of the late Dee and Rosie Grant and biological parents Tandy and Pearl Hadley Campbell. 

Buck was a former employee of Oshkosh in Columbia, worked construction and he loved hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Donetta Conover Campbell of Columbia; two daughters Peggy Coomer (Chuck) of Jeffersonville, IN and Gina Baker (Steven) of Columbia; a grandson Chase Coomer of Jeffersonville, IN and a host of other family and friends. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings Ralphus Campbell, Chester Campbell, Flossie Neat, Mary Harden and Thelma Cravens.

Funeral services will 11:00am Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and continue Monday until time for the service.

Bro. David Coffey will be officiating and pallbearers will be Jeff Neat, Dallas Neat, Dewayne Neat, Chad Collins, Dwayne Cox and Michael Collins.

Mrs. Suann Whitlock of Chiefland, Florida, formerly of Campbellsville, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home. Born on July 29, 1982 to Bill and Sharon (Jones) Whitlock, she was 36 years, 4 months, and 26 days of age.

Mrs. Whitlock had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a home health nursing aid, and a loving and cherished mother. Her children and family often enjoyed times out with friends riding fourwheelers and getting muddy before quiet times at home.

She leaves to mourn her passing:
   Two children: Gage and Castin Grisham of Florida,
   Her companion: James Smith of Florida,
   Her mother and father: Bill and Sharon Whitlock of Campbellsville,
   Five siblings: David Whitlock and wife Stephanie of Campbellsville, Trena Strahle and husband Jack of Florida, Tony Whitlock of Campbellsville, Pam Thomas and husband Jimmy of Campbellsville, and Becky Cash and husband Matthew of Campbellsville,
   And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Whitlock on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Sis. Anna Overstreet will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Saloma Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

Wanda M. Johnson

Wanda M. Johnson, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 78.
Born on December 15, 1940, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Grace Patterson Snow. Wanda was a homemaker.

She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She loved the Kentucky Wildcats and to go rabbit hunting. Wanda was a very loving mother.

Wanda is survived by three sons, Robert Dean (and Leisa Miller) Durham of Campbellsville, Ronald David Durham of Campbellsville, Steven Wayne (and Rebecca) Durham of Liberty; and a daughter, Patricia Jo (and David) Dalton of Danville. Other survivors include a brother, Dale Snow of Ohio; a sister, Wilma (and Curtis) Robertson of Kings Mountain; fourteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Durham, who passed away on March 17, 1980; and a son, Richard Dale Durham.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Ms. Wanda’s pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Francis Adalene Bolin, 89, of Jamestown passed away on Monday December 24th at the Russell County Hospital.
She was born in Jamestown, KY March 2, 1929 a daughter of the late Ada Pearl (Mann) and Stanley Marcum.

She is survived by 
Daughter Betty (Wayne) Gaskins, of Russell Springs, KY
Son Kenton Bolin, of Jamestown, KY
Four brothers Keith and Mitchell Marcum, of Jamestown, KY
Doug Marcum, of Russell Springs, KY
Cyrus Marcum, of ILL
Four grandchildren Mark and Austin Bolin, Jill Adamson, and Brian Gaskins.
Two step grandchildren Dewayne Bolin and Belinda Wooldridge.
Seven great grandchildren. 9 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Bolin, a daughter Joyce Bolin and a son Jerry Bolin, two sisters Julie Coe, and Kay Skinner two brothers Forest and Roy Marcum.

Funeral Services will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY on Saturday December 29th, 1:00pm with Bro. Michael Carnes officiating.
Friends may visit on Friday after 5:00pm at the funeral home.
Burial in the Murray Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.
