Mary Lana Jarboe Purdom, age 79, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at her residence. She was born on September 02, 1943 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Louis Jarboe and Evelyn Campbell Jarboe.

She was preceded on death by her husband, Robert Lee “Bobby” Purdom; parents; two infant grandsons, Tyler Lee Curtsinger and Wesley Jacob Caldwell.

Survivors include her two daughters, Laura Purdom (Tim Curtsinger) of Bardstown and Kim Caldwell (Billy) of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Brittany Curtsinger, Haley Curtsinger, Abigail Caldwell, and Bella Caldwell; three great-grandchildren, Ayizen Aldridge, Xylan Aldridge and Sephora Redmon; brother, Michael Jarboe of Lebanon; sister, Sue Ann Glasscock of Lebanon.

Visitation will be held from 4:30-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 02, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M., officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 03, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery.

Leah Anna Gleeman, of Dunnville, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic. She was 21.

Born on September 18, 2001, in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of Steven and Susan Gleeman. Leah had a quiet spirit and a gentle soul. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, visiting the beach, and listening to music. She loved flowers, especially sunflowers and lilies, and also loved her many animals. Leah graduated from Casey County High School Class of 2021 and went on to attend a culinary arts school. She passed away eleven years later to the date (July 31) of her Grandma Henni, to whom she was very close.

In addition to her parents, of Dunnville, Leah is survived by her brother, William Gleeman of Dunnville; a maternal grandmother, Louise “Geema” Wolkis of Florida; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Roethle officiating. Burial will follow in Lawhorn Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Khrone Carroll Miller, age 68 of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born November 09, 1954 in Springfield, IL to the late, Emmett and Ruby Mae Miller.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte.

Survivors include his children, Melissa Miller, Jennifer Applegate, and Christina Applegate; brother, Charlie Wade; sister, Donna Frank; also surviving are 3 grandchildren.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation was chosen.

Raymond Bernard, of Russell Springs, passed from this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Russell County Hospital.  He was 75 years of age.

Raymond was born at home in Russell County on June 11, 1948, son of the late Roy and Lona Belle Kinnett Bernard.  He married Janette Copley on June 16, 1968.  There were three children born to their union. 

He enjoyed collecting a variety of items, whatever he could see having value in the future; guns, old die cast cars, Avon bottles, comic books, and old records, just to name a few.  Ramond loved watching old westerns, wrestling, Kentucky basketball and Vanna White (and Wheel of Fortune).  He loved his dogs.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Janette; his children, Dale Bernard and Karen Bunch, both of Russell Springs; his brothers, Lynn (and Donita) Bernard, of Lexington, Larry Bernard, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Ricky Bernard and Phillip Bernard, both of Jamestown; his sisters, Doris Birdwell, of Jamestown, Janice (and Ronnie) Kerr, of Russell Springs, and Betty Bernard and Sue (and Andy) Bell, both of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Derek Bernard, of Russell Springs, Jordan Godsey, of Jamestown, Lucas Andrew, of Lexington, and Calvin Bernard and Justin Bernard, both of Russell Springs; his great-grandchildren, Paige Grimsley, Londyn Bernard, Kynzlee Bernard and Ashlee Grimsley; and his sister-in-law, Deborah Bernard, of Jamestown.

Along with his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Bernard; and his brother, Roger Bernard.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Dunbar officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 8:00 a.m., Thursday, at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for funeral services.

Michelle Finn of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Robert Mitchell and Wyona  Benningfield Mitchell, was born January 14, 1965 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 7:14 P.M., Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age:  58

She was saved by the blood of The Lamb and born again.  Michelle was a member of New Journey Church with special ties to Elkhorn Baptist Church; her faith was strong and she loved the Lord. 

She was branch manager at Citizens Bank and Trust Company.

Michelle was an old soul, who enjoyed watching Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy and even named all her beloved pets, past and present, after the characters: Lucy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Ellie, Daphne, Brisco and Opie.  She kept an immaculate home and found great enjoyment in her flowers and going camping.  Michelle loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at the ballpark.

She united in marriage to Eddie Finn May 13, 2000.
Besides her husband, Eddie Finn of Campbellsville who was the love of her life, Michelle is survived by two sons: Tyler Finn and wife, Jade of Campbellsville and Cody Finn of Campbellsville and his significant other, Jacinta Perkins of Hodgenville; four grandchildren:  Tyson Finn, Ryce Finn, Cohen Finn and Elsie Mae Finn; her mother-in-law, Lillie Finn of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law:  Renay England and husband, Steve of Campbellsville and Melisa Clark and husband, Tom of Georgia; three nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was 70 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful Mom and Nanny.

Survivors include her children: Ruth Ann Hodge and companion, Dale Wilson of Shepherdsville, Mark Randall Hodge, Jr., Melinda Gail Hodge, and significant other, Shawn Richardson all of Greensburg, Loreann Anita Hodge of Elizabethtown, and Jeanette Lynn Hodge, and significant other, Taft Neal of Greensburg; three sisters: Judith Crump of Shepherdsville, Tamara Edmonds, and Dora Edmonds both of Greensburg; 18 grandchildren: LaShae, Bradley (Courtney), Holly, Kyle, Jameson, Aaron, Abigail, Jonathan, Eric (Disney), Destiny, Christina, Angyl (Dylan), Toby, Brooklyn, Heaven, Nevaeh, Cody and Chad; five great-grandchildren: Alexander, Maverick, Brandt, Skyelynn, and Nolyn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. No formal services or visitation at this time.
