Audie Dixon, Sr., of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at his residence. He was 64.

Born on April 30, 1956, he was a son of the late Paul and Doreen Miller Dixon. Audie was a phlebotomist. He loved fishing and rock n roll music.

He is survived by a son, Audie (Annie) Dixon, Jr. of Louisville; three grandchildren, Micah, Audie lll, and Mason; and a brother, Michael Shannon Dixon of Louisville.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Lou Dixon; and two sisters, Debra Caple and Josette Dixon.

No services will be held at this time.

Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.mckinneybrown.com.

Arthur Lyle

Arthur Lyle, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 54.

Born on November 4, 1965, in Roseburg, Oregon, he was a son of Joan Holm and the late Arthur Lyle. Arthur had been a logger, a crab fisher, and a cook at the Bread of Life Café. He enjoyed riding his scooter and watching movies.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Esther (Glen) Martin of Liberty, Lila Stoner of Texas, and Hannah Rose of Liberty; two sons, Solomon Stoner of Scottsville and Silas (Savannah) Stoner of Ohio; five grandchildren; and a brother, Mike Lyle of Oregon.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister.

Cremation rites were honored. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joseph Cery Fannin, ( better known as J.C.) 73, of Columbia, Ky. died Monday, September 28, 2020 at his residence.

He was born August 7, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Raymond & Frances Rollings
Fannin.

He was a Master Plumber and a Veteran of US Marine Corp

Survived by his wife, Jean Avis Lee, 2 sons, 1 daughter and 5 grandchildren

Funeral service for Joseph Cery Fannin will be 1 PM. Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation 12 Noon Friday until funeral time at 1 PM.

John Norman Lawrence III

John Norman Lawrence III, 48, of Springfield, KY died Monday, September 28, 2020 in Russell Springs, KY.  Born in Somerset, KY he is the son of the late John Norman Lawrence, Jr. and Cynthia Stephens Davis (Steve) of Russell Springs, KY who survives. 

John was a veteran of the U. S. Army and later joined the Army National Guard serving in the Iraq War.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Goodin Lawrence of Springfield, KY; a sister Veronica Bruce (Garry) of Louisville, KY; two nephews Dakota and Austin Harman and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 6097 at the funeral home.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue on Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Tina Annissia Johnson, 49, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.  Born in Columbia, KY she is the daughter of Stariett and Carol Coomer Johnson both of Columbia who survives.

Tina was a member of the Parks Ridge Church of God and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents Tina is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday after 10:00am at the funeral home.

She was born September 12, 1989 in Adair County.  Ashley was a waitress.

Trevor Garrick Gosser, 42, of Russell Springs, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1978 in Somerset, Ky.

He was a State Agriculture Inspector and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
wife: Crystal Gosser, Russell Springs
1 son: Kaleb Garrick Gosser, Russell Springs
parents: Gary B. & Gail Gosser, Russell Springs
1 brother: Travis (Michelle) Gosser, Bardstown, Ky

Trevor was an avid influential member of the Gosser Ridge Community. He was avid farmer, boater and Prankster. "Boss Hogg" will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral service for Trevor Garrick Gosser will be 2 PM. Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Gosser officiating.

Lillie Irene Roark, 69, of Campbellsville, KY died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence.  Born in Adair County she was the daughter of the late Estill Ray and Dorothy Irene Taylor Asberry.

Survivors include her husband Alvin Ray Roark of Campbellsville, KY; two step-sons Jeff Roark of Campbellsville, KY and Timmy Roark of Monticello; seven siblings Emmitt Asberry of Dunnville, KY, Charlie Asberry (Lois), Clinton Asberry (Lori), David Asberry (Barbara), Shirley Roark and Minnie Sue Harrison all of Russell Springs, KY and Rebecca Brown (Kenny) of Knifley, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Casey County.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue on Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.  Bro. David Asberry and Bro. Shane Gaskins will be officiating.

Larry Allen Morgan, 58, of Columbia, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home. 
He was born September 14, 1962 in Barren County, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his father, Veachel Morgan, his mother, Virginia Dile Rowe, and one brother, Clayton Morgan.  Larry was a painter, loved fishing and an avid University of Kentucky fan.

Adron Estus Wheat, 72, of Russell Springs, died Sunday September 20, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

He was born November 8, 1947 in Russell County to the late Estus & Mary Pauline Helm Wheat.

He was a Minister of the gospel and a member of Bernard Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Lila West Wheat; a son, Allen Wayne Wheat.

Survivors include:
wife: Joyce Wheat, Russell Springs
2 children: Donita (Mike) Meador, Louisville
                  Kara (Darren) McCauley, Bardstown, Ky
2 step children: Daron McQueary and Jodi McQueary-Stubbs, Jamestown
