Cody Dwight Gosser, age 23, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Russell County Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, September 01 1998, in Somerset, KY.

He was the son of:
Mother - Melissa Hardwick, of Jamestown, KY
Father - Eric D. Gosser, of Russell Springs, KY

Survivors also include:
Wife - Mackenzie Nichole Gosser of Russell Springs, KY

He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Valton Willis of Jamestown, paternal grandmother, Ronella Barger of Russell Springs and paternal great-grandmother, Erma Gosser of Russell Springs.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Diane Willis and paternal grandfather Dwight Gosser. He was a farmer and member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church. Pallbearers were, Chris Humble, Dirk Blevins, Lewis Tarter, Spencer Roy, Lance Franklin and Jeremy Walters

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 03 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 10 AM to 2 PM Monday, January 03 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY.

Bruce A. Loveall was born March 29, 1957, in Taylor County, Kentucky to the late Vaughn Wesley Loveall, JR and Florence Montgomery Loveall.  He was formerly of Green County.  He departed this life Friday, December 31, 2021, at his home in West Point, Kentucky, having attained the age of sixty-four years, nine months and two days.
​
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sulphur Well, Kentucky.  He was a Computer Software Technologist.   He was affiliated and participated with the Fort Duffield Park and Historic Site:  Commander Fort Duffield Camp 1, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Department of Kentucky, Fort Duffield Heritage Committee, West Point, Kentucky, Historian and Webmaster.  Friends of Fort Duffield:  Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association, Campbellsville, Kentucky.  Long standing member and Webmaster.  Former President.  Kentucky Military History Preservation Alliance, formerly known as Kentucky Civil War Sites Association.  Bruce represented Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association and Fort Duffield.  Bruce was a member:  former President of the Green County Historical Society, Louisville Genealogical Society,
Ancestral Trails Historical Society, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Meade County History Museum, Brandenburg, Kentucky, Painted Stone Settlers, Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Governor Isaac Shelby Chapter, Shelbyville, KY. Sons of the American Revolution (active participant). Member and Webmaster Weimaraner Club of Greater Louisville.

He is survived by two brothers and one sister:  Barry Loveall of Orem, Utah, Byron Loveall and his wife Jill of Sandy, Utah and Brenda Underwood and her husband Melvin of Greensburg, his domestic partner:  Constance D. Morris of West Point, Kentucky, 14 nieces and nephews:  Jessica Davis and her husband Jacob, Lane Booth, Brenton Booth, Nikki Booth and Austin Booth, Sydney Carlberg, Maddie Underwood, Ryan Loveall, Jones Loveall, Maggie Loveall and Cairo Loveall, Auston Mead, Tonya Underwood and her significant other Brandon Cox, Kim Dziabula and her husband Tomasz, several great nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

 Place and time of Graveside Service:  1 p.m., Central Time, Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Montgomery Cemetery
Walk-Through Visitation:  5 p.m. until 8 p.m.,  Central Time, Sunday, January 9, 2022 and after 7 a.m., Central Time, Monday until time for the graveside service.
Pallbearers:  Austin Booth, Lane Booth, Brenton Booth, Melvin Underwood, Randall Mason, Tyler Booth

 The family is requesting that everyone attending to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Martie Dean Deering Sr., age 57 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Spring View Hospital. He was born January 18, 1964 in Marion County to Paul and Alma Deering. Martie did construction work for over 30 years in Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Deering.

Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Jones, Karmin Tucker, Kylah Tucker, and Sassha Whitlock; son, Martie Deering Jr.; mother, Alma Deering; sisters, Cathy Elder, and Janie Gilbert; brothers, Paul “Dougie” Deering, Randy Deering, Dana Deering, and Timmy Deering; and grandchildren, Kaylee Leake, Lindsey Deering, Mia Kate Jones, Ally Deering, and Blake Deering.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 03, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Deering officiating. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.

Deborah “Debbie” K. Gabbert

Deborah “Debbie” K. Gabbert, 68, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, died December 30, 2021 at her home.

She was born March 29, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Calvin and Veneta Corbin Gabbert.  Debbie was a Speech Pathologist, retiring from the Jefferson County Public Schools and currently employed with Lifeline Home Health.  She enjoyed raising sugar cane and making molasses.  Any kind of animal Debbie loved, working with championship show horses and her dogs were “Her Children”.

She is survived by an uncle, Tommy Corbin of Columbia and several cousins and friends.

Graveside service – Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. CST at Haven Hill Cemetery with burial to follow.
There will be no visitation

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate the donor a donation to the Animal Shelter of the donor’s choice.

Mary Sue Young, 67, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Gallatin, TN on January 31, 1954 to the late Clyde and Agnes Marie Chandler Reecer. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Young, Jr. and three siblings Julia White, Johnny Reecer and Charles Reecer.

Survivors include a daughter Marie Parker (Bryan) of Russell Springs, KY; six grandchildren Dorothy Ray (David), Randy Reecer (Paulette), Robert Reecer (Darlene) and Sammy Reecer all of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Deborah Sue Conner, of Jamestown, passed from this life on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at her home. She was 65 years of age.

Born July 2, 1956, in Albany, she was a daughter of the late John Cape and Martha Maxine Guffey Wooten. Sue was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson.

Sue is survived by her son, James (and fiancée Stacey King) of Jamestown; her grandson, Jessie James Conner; her nephew, Jason (and Samantha) Rogers of Jamestown; and her cousins, Julie Bell, and Lynda Halsell, both of Jamestown.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sons, Jessie A. Conner, and Jason Conner; her brother, Anthony Wooten; and her sister, Kathy Hunter.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother P.J. Miller and Brother Phillip Miller officiating. Inturnment will take place in Land’s Chapel Cemetery in Albany.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until serve time on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home.

Barbara Jean (nee Hartman) Roberts, beloved wife of the late Bobby Roberts.

Loving mother of Monica (David) Oder, Karen (Ronald) Oder, the late Brian Poole and B.J. (Heather)Roberts. Grandmother of Samantha, Shannon, Tyler, Mitchell Oder, Zane and Zoe Roberts. Daughter of Betty Jean and the late George Hartman. Sister of George Hartman, Jr. and Kathy (Harold) Vollrath.

Passed away on December 30, 2021 at age 73. Visitation on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave, 45224. Burial will be held in Spaw Cemetery.

Joshua Evan Bruce, 35, of MetCalfe County, Kentucky passed away Wednesday December 29th, 2021 after a short illness. Josh was born in Yuma, Arizona and moved to Kentucky as young child. He was an amazing husband to Brittany, father to his seven children, friend to many. He served in the Army as a Bradley mechanic and his most recent career was being a truck driver. His favorite hobbies were to fish and to hunt. He knew no stranger and made a friend with everyone who came across his path. He would help anyone in need, no matter his circumstances. 

     He is survived by his wife Brittany and his seven children who were the loves of his life. His parents Wes and Kathy Bruce, his brother Justin (Natalie) Bruce and sister Becca (Alex) Taylor. His grandparents Charles and Maxine Bankard, Judith Miller and Robert and Donna Blevins and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and trucker family.

     There will be a private memorial service at the convenience of the family. A public memorial service will be held at the Old School Cafe located on Stockton Street in Edmonton at 1 pm on Saturday January 22nd, 2022. This will be a potluck with the main course provided.  

     The family would like to thank everyone who has donated either monetarily through the various platforms. Josh was not much for flowers so the family requests no flowers/ plants. If you would like to make a contribution, there’s a gofundme on facebook under his brother Justin Bruce. There is also a raffle at Hawk’s Deli & Gun Shop of a rifle in Josh’s memory.

Sue Bravard, 70, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 29th, at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs. 

Sue was born in Jamestown, KY on March 27, 1951, a daughter of the late Lena Mae Brumley. 

She was the wife of Mark Bravard, of Jamestown, KY; 

Sue is also survived by 
a daughter, Debbie Jones, of Jamestown, KY; 
two sons Junior Appleby, of Jamestown, KY; Adam Appleby, of Russell Springs, KY; 
five brothers, Odell Brumley, of Indianapolis, IN; David Brumley, of Jamestown, KY; Andy Bell, of Jamestown, KY; Kenneth Bell, of Russell Springs, KY; Phillip Bell, of Elizabethtown, KY. 

9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by 2 sons P.I. and Scotty Appleby, 2 daughters Kathy Appleby and Chris Roy, 1 sister Ora Reeder. 

Funeral Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31st, with Bro. Steve Bunch officiating. 

Friends may visit Thursday 5:00 PM. and Friday after 8:00 A.M. at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. 

Interment at Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY.
