Barbara Jane Bradshaw, age 78, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Harrodsburg, KY passed away on Monday May 30th, 2016 at Llanfair Nursing Home. She was born in Harrodsburg, KY on April 4th, 1938 to the late John and Leona Goforth Bradshaw.

Barbara was the widow of Lewis A. Bradshaw and was a Homemaker.

Survivors include: Three Sons: James Bradshaw of Peach Grove, KY, John and Jeff Bradshaw both of Cincinnati, OH, One Daughter: Debra Human of Cincinnati, OH, Ten Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and Two Sisters: Joyce Murray of Harrodsburg and Lenora Nave of Burgin.

Preceding her death besides her parents and spouse are One Son: Charles Bradshaw, One Sister: Carolyn Belcher and One Brother Leo Bradshaw.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 2nd, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday June 2nd, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery.

James "Jimmie" Williams

James "Jimmie" Williams, 70, of Hodgenville, KY, died on May 28, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Williams was the son of the late John Will  and Gleneva Johnson Williams and a native of Hodgenville, KY.  Mr. Williams was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church He was a former employee of GE Appliances and Ford Motor Company.  He owned and operated his own trucking company until his retirement in 2011.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Bass Williams of Hodgenville, KY; three sons, Jimmy Lee Williams of Elizabethtown, KY, Timmy Lee Williams (Veronica) of El Paso, TX, and Shawn Williams of Elizabethtown, KY; two daughters, Renee Williams of Longview, TX; Mary "Tina" Suitt (Larry) of Concord, NC; three step-daughters, Danielle Freeney (Reginald) and Gabrielle Bass (Nick) both of Louisville, KY and Janelle Franklin (James) of Hodgenville, KY; four sisters, Helen Cumlin, Mamie Williams, Mary Holman (James) and Barbara Lewis all of Indiana; one brother, Robert Williams (Trish) of Illinois; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY with Rev. Lewis Williams officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Percell & Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY

Russell W. Smith, 52, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sun. May 29th in Jamestown, KY.
Russell was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 12, 1964 a son of JoAnn (Mills) Warriner and late Ebb Smith.

He is survived by 
two sons Alex Smith, of Jamestown, KY
Codey Bell, of Louisville, KY
three brothers James, Johnny and David Smith all of Jamestown, KY
four sisters Karen Worley,Cathy Johnson, Treva Smith all of Jamestown,KY and Terri Smith of Lebanon, OH.
Granddaughter Nylah Bell.
He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services for Russell Smith will be Wed. 1:00pm at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Pastor John Abner officiating.
Friends may visit after 11:00am at the funeral home on Wed.
Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY

James Albert Cross

James Albert Cross, age 82, of Campbellsville died Monday, May 30, 2016 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born May 27, 1934 in Green County to the late William Alonzo “Lonnie” and Mattie B Wright Cross. James worked for 20 years in the school system in Columbus, Indiana and was also a retired farmer. Before going into the nursing home you would often find James enjoying one of his favorite past times, working in his yard. He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville.

Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by two wives, Elizabeth Curry Cross and Pearl Cross as well as 2 sisters, Ruby Nell Cross and Wanda Jean Cross and one brother Vernon Lee Cross. 

He is survived by his wife Margaret Cross of Campbellsville; one daughter, Brenda Gayle Bowers and her husband Roger of Butlerville, IN; two sons, Rick Allen Cross and his wife Betsy and Danny Wayne Cross of Columbus, IN; two sisters, Correll and her husband, William “Fats” Coffey and Elizabeth Coffey, and one brother, Otis Coffey, all of Greensburg, Kentucky; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren also survive. Also surviving is one step-son Donald Davis and his wife Sharon of New Mexico and one step-grandchild. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. 

The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Hall E. Johnson, 87, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. at his residence. 

He was born March 26, 1929, in Cumberland County, to the late Melvin and Bessie Coop Johnson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Willis Johnson on September 25, 2010, one brother, Russell Johnson and two great-grandchildren. 

He was a retired businessman, owning Johnson Candy Company for several years.  He was a member of Columbia Church of Christ, where he served as Elder and Song Leader for years.  He was proud to a Kentucky Colonel. 

Survivors include: 
Four daughters and sons-in-law – Connie and Ronnie Stone, Peggy and Mike Ellis, Becky and Chuck Rogers, Paula and David Eubank all of Columbia 
One brother – Malcolm Johnson of Burkesville 
11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends 

Funeral service – Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Columbia Church of Christ with Dean Roach officiating 

Burial in Columbia Cemetery 

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Tuesday and 7:00 A.M. Wednesday at Columbia Church of Christ

James M. Reynolds

James M. Reynolds, 85, formerly of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, May 27, 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana 

He was born November 30, 1930, in Adair County, to the late William Goebel and Velma Riddle Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Murray Reynolds. 

He proudly served in the United State Army during the Korean War and had been a member of VFW Post 1120.  He retired from Consolidated Freightways and also worked more than 20 years for Dohm Transfer Company.  He was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Indianapolis. 

A soft spoken and easy going man, he enjoyed looking after his garden and took pride in caring for his yard.  His memory will be cherished by a loving and devoted family. 

Survivors include: 
His son – James C. (Nicole) Reynolds of Martinsville, Indiana 
Two brothers – William Reynolds of Columbia and Eugene Reynolds of Greensburg 
Two sisters – Ruth Noe and Evelyn Richards both of Louisville 

Funeral service – Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home 

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097

Clevious “Clebo” Curry, 71, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1:48 A.M. at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow 

He was born May 7, 1945, to the late Clarence “Happy” and Annalene Todd Curry. 

Survivors include: 
One son – Brant Lane of Columbia 
Four daughters – April Smith of Columbia, Dionne Richardson-Davis of Waterford, Michigan, Kimberly Ann Richardson-Boyd and Lisa Mae Richardson both of Chicago, Illinois 
Two half-brothers – Jerry Wayne Jones of South Carolina and Ricky Jones of Columbia 
One half-sister – Lavetta Jones of South Carolina 
16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends 

Funeral service – Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home 

Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery

Jeremy Norris, 23, formerly of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Bowling Green, Kentucky 

He was born January 12, 1993, to the late George Ray and Julie Lynn Grott Norris.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Ray Norris, Sr. 

Survivors include: 
His nephew – Gregory Ray Norris, Jr. of Columbia 
Six uncles – Andy Norris, Billy Norris, Larry Norris, Paul Vasquez, Kenneth Mickens, Parris Norris 
His special family – Leshia, Sonya and Dallas Fair and Brandon Joseph all of Columbia 

Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.

David Foley, age 82, of Brodhead, KY, formerly of McKinney, KY passed away on Sunday May 29th, 2016 at Rockcastle Health and Rehab. He was born in Stanford, KY on September 8th, 1933 to the late Chester Route and Mary Owens Foley.

David was a Factory Worker.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Helen Jean and (Bruce) Hamm of Liberty, One Son: Chester Lee and (Lisa) Foley of Yosemite, Six Grandchildren: Crystal and (Kelly) Buis, Donovan Hamm, Nicholas Hamm, Janey Foley, Jon Foley, Joshua Foley, Six Great Grandchildren: Courtney Buis, Gracie Hamm, Madison Hamm, Dakota Hamm, Kaden Alcorn and Layla Foley and Two Sisters: Jewell Henry of McKinney and Frances Sims of McKinney.

Preceding him death besides his parents are Two Sisters: Elizabeth Lair and Mildred Delk and One Brother: Mack Foley.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 1st, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 1st, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating. Burial will be in the Eason Cemetery.

Mr. Donald Franklin Abston, age 67 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1948 in Columbia, KY. Mr. Abston was a United States Army veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Huston and Ruby Ester Spralding Abston; brothers, George Allen, Robert Terrell and James F. Abston; sister, Imogene Garrett. 

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Marie Hoosier Abston, of Lebanon, KY; son, Adam Hoosier, of Lebanon, KY; two brothers, John Abston, of Greensburg, KY, Glynn Abston, of Lebanon, KY; two sisters, JoAnne Buckner, of Greensburg, KY, Patricia Pinkston, of East Texas, KY. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Everett Greer. Interment to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Marion County Veteran Honor Guard. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the funeral home.
