Marie Patricia Silkowski, 74, of Columbia, KY died June 27, 2019 at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.  Born in Pen Argyl, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice Budge Mulrooney. 

Mrs. Silkowski was a member of the Bloomington Chapel Brethren In Christ Church and formerly attended the Columbia Church of the Nazarene.   Marie was a caretaker and loved serving others; she was faithful to the Wednesday night Bible study at Columbia Church of the Nazarene and feeding the children at the church.

Survivors include her husband Joseph Silkowski of Columbia, KY; two daughters Sharon Young of Somerset, KY and Jeannie Marie Moseley of Newport, NC; four grandchildren G. Young of Columbia and Michael Moseley (Amanda), Sean Moseley (Carol) and Heather Cooper (Joey) all of Moorehead, NC; ten great-grandchildren Garrett Moseley, Ashlynn Moseley, Hannah Moseley, John Freeman-Moseley, Kayla Freeman-Moseley, Lamar Teel, JJ Cooper, Aiden Cooper, Taylor Cooper and Bryson Luttrell; a sister Barbara Kavanagh of Linwood, PA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren Eryk Bell and Samantha Young and a brother Joseph Mulrooney.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and continue on Monday morning until time for the service.
Bro. Ralph Foster will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Kosair Charities @ P.O. Box 37370 Louisville, KY 40233-7370.

Dan Streeval, 58, of Louisville, formerly of Adair County, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville.

He was born July 2, 1960 in Franklin, IN to the late James Ernest & Edith Burton Streeval.  He was a former brick mason and was an avid fisherman. 

Survivors Include:
Three Sons – Jesse Streeval of Louisville, Cody Streeval (Jennifer Horton) of Horse Cave & Everett Streeval of Columbia
Two Brothers – Dean Streeval (Bev Sargent) of Columbia, Larry Streeval & his wife Brenda of Knifley
One Sister – Pam Thiemann & her husband Frank of Virginia
His Significant Other – Melissa Gauld of Louisville
His Former Wife – Faylene Streeval of Columbia
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends also survive

Graveside Service – Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bearwallow Cemetery with burial to follow the service
Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. at the cemetery

Bobby D. Lawless, 80, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, June 28th, 

Bobby was born in Jamestown, KY on April 27, 1939, a son of the late Mary (Warriner) and Welby Lawless.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Phyllis (Conner) Lawless

He was a retired Janitor at Fruit of the Loom

Bobby is survived by 
two sons Randy Lawless, of Campbellsville, KY; Ricky Lawless, of Jamestown, KY; 
a sister, Virginia Irvin, of Russell Springs, KY. 

He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren Lincoln, Luke, Cayla, and Riley Lawless

Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown,, KY, at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 2nd, with Bro. Mike Bunch officiating.

Mark Allen Acree, 47, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at  UK Heathcare  Hospital in Lexington,. He was born May 16, 1972 in Columbia, Ky.

Mark was a farmer and a member of White's Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mont & Ruby Acree and maternal grandparents, Minnie & Robert Johnson

Sammy T. Mann, 79, of Jamestown, KY passed away Thursday, June 27th, at Russell County Hospital. 

Sammy was born in Jamestown, KY on May 6, 1940, a son of the late Amy (Stearns) and Thomas R. Mann.

Sammy is survived by 
a son,Tony (Sylvia) Mann, of Jamestown. KY; 
a brother, Coy Mann, of Jamestown, KY. 

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Evelyn Mann, brother Jr Mann

Friends may visit Sunday 12 noon till 2:00pm. at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

Rev. Gilbert Larimore

Rev. Gilbert Larimore was born August 21, 1928 in Green County, KY to the late Olie and Annie Belle Cook Larimore. He departed this life Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of ninety years, ten months and six days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Greensburg Baptist Church. He was a minister and he retired from the US Postal Service, where he was a rural letter carrier. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813 Greensburg and the Rod Lowe Post 124 American Legion, Greensburg. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son: Gilbert Anthony Larimore and three brothers: Billy Joe, Thomas and Lawrence Larimore.

He is survived by his wife Villus Judd Larimore, one daughter: Jan Miller and her husband David of Greensburg, one step grandson: Jason Miller, one brother: Robert Larimore and his wife Louise of Greensburg, sisters-in-law: Adele Larimore, Margaret Larimore and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Lawrence and Deloris Judd, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Place and Time of Funeral Services: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home - 1 p.m. CT Tuesday, July 2, 2019
Visitation: 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. CT Monday and after 7 a.m. CT Tuesday
Ministers: Rev. Wilburn Bonta and Rev. Robert Adkins
Burial In: Beech Grove Cemetery with Military Honors.

Easter M Passmore, 78, of Dunnville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 26th, at her residence. 

Easter was born in Somerset, KY on April 13, 1941, a daughter of the late Sarah (Luttrell) and Clarence Stargle.

Easter is survived by 
four daughters, Brenda Nichols, of Liberty, KY; 
Mayrene Lee, of Columbia, KY; 
Della Woodrum, of Russell Springs, KY; 
Chasity Villela, of Russell Springs, KY; 
a son,Eldon Passmore, of Dunnville, KY; 
a sister, Peggy Pierce
four brothers, Donnie, Kenny, Garland, and Arvin Stargle all of Russell Springs, KY

She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldie Passmore, daughter Judy Polston, grandson Michael Tucker Passmore.

Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown,, KY, at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 29th, with Bro. Greg Trumbo officiating. 

Friends may visit Saturday 11:00am. at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. 

Interment at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Dunnville, KY.

Robert Leslie Sidebottom

Robert Leslie Sidebottom was born August 27, 1938 in Green County, Kentucky to John Robert Sidebottom and Junius Murray Sidebottom.

He married Lohmann Claudene Rayburn on Wednesday, May 28, 1958 at 6:00 p.m.

This union was blessed with one son, Leslie Lee Sidebottom, his wife Lori Sidebottom and the grandchildren: Sean (Dana) Blankenship, Jordan (Brandon) Worley and the great grandchildren: Aubrey Elizabeth Worley and Lauren MacKenzie Worley.

Leslie made a profession of faith in Christ at age 8 and joined the Summersville Nazarene Church. He later joined the Houk’s Chapel United Methodist Church, August 29, 1958.

He served faithfully in the music, education and other departments of the church.

Leslie later joined and attended the Nicholasville United Methodist Church.

Leslie earned a Rank 1 degree in Education. He received teaching certificates for Elementary Grades 1-8 and High School with a teaching Major in English and Teaching Minors in Music and Psychology and held a Principalship Grades 1-12 from Western Kentucky University.

He retired from the Green County School System in 1992 with 34 years of service.

Kenneth E. Atwood

Kenneth E. Atwood of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles F. Atwood and Gertie Mae Lee Atwood, was born May 13, 1935 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 10:12 P.M., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Campbellsville.         Age: 84

He was a professing Christian.

Kenneth was proud of being a self-taught builder and contractor and had constructed several houses. He had also worked as a dairy farmer.

Kenneth enjoyed camping and being on the water and showing his classic car for which he won several trophies.

He united in marriage to Connie Clearcy Cottrell March 22, 1993 and she preceded him in death May 30, 2006.

He is survived by four daughters and two sons: Kay Gaines, Kim McFarland and Donna Hall and husband, David of Campbellsville and Linda Seibers, Charles Atwood and Eugene Atwood of Ohio; four step-children: Sherry Goeke, Stephen Weddle, Richard Weddle and Roy Weddle of Ohio; eleven grandchildren: Ian Chase Seaborne, Jeremy Konnor McFarland, Chloe Hall, Frank Seibers, Jr., Benjamin Atwood, Charles Atwood, Jr., Rose Atwood, Emily Atwood, Lenia Atwood, Paul Atwood and Crystal Perez and husband, Rigo; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was the youngest of eight children and is survived by one sister, Rae Douglas of Liberty.
He was also preceded in death by a former wife, Iola Atwood.

Thelma Elizabeth Smith, age 88 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Bardstown, KY. She was born on December 15, 1930 in Lebanon, KY. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and worked as a cook many years at Tabor Cafe. She was also a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Earl "Tite" Smith (2001); mother, Dorothy Smith Brown; father, James Tilman Spalding; son, James Henry "Buster Pete" Brown; sister, Beatrice Bell; brothers, James Henry Spalding, James Tommy Spalding and George Hayden "Joe Monk" Spalding.

Survivors include daughter, Kathy Bell Porter, of Lebanon, KY; sisters, Wanda Johnson, of Lexington, KY, Tina Furmon, of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and other extended family members. The family wants to acknowledge the Tabor Family as special chosen family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer Services will be held at 7:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
