Carolyn Sue Burton, Age 75, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9:29 AM at the TJ Sampson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. 

She was born October 29, 1942 in Edinburgh, IN, the daughter of the late Alice Lou Ramsey. 

She is survived by seven children:
Vickey Kidd and her husband Terry of Bowling Green, KY, Janet Wall and her husband Donnie of Columbia, KY, Theresa Gabehart of Campbellsville, KY, Glenn Burton of Columbia, KY, Tammy England and her husband Kenny of Columbia, KY, Dewayne Burton of Columbia, KY and Michelle Grant of Columbia, KY.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends survive.

Carolyn was a Nurses Aid for many years in Indiana.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Roy Wooley

Roy Wooley of Liberty son of the late Shelby Wooley and Gertie Fisher Wooley was born October 4, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:59 P.M., Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Danville.          Age: 85

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the New Life Tabernacle in Liberty. His family takes great comfort knowing he has gone on to a better place.

He was a retired carpenter and farmer and worked for many years at the power plant in Jamestown.

He loved fishing and his carpentry work. He united in marriage to Doris Jean Bowman Wells.

Besides his wife, Doris Wooley of Liberty, he is survived by four sons and two daughters: Gary Wooley and wife, Jennie, Roy Wooley Jr. and wife, Angela and Patricia Wooley of Campbellsville, Michael Wells and Eric Wells of Liberty and Ramona Owens and husband, Boogie of Brandenburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilbur Wooley and wife, Jerri of Louisville; one sister, Mary Jo Sneed of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Wooley of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tony Wooley, April 19, 2015; two daughters: Linda Marie Wooley Cox April 26, 2010 and Rebecca Wells July 14, 2009; two brothers and five sisters: Shirley F. Wooley, Bill Wooley, Opal Tungate, Annie Perkins, Myrtle Morris, Nellie Tungate and Lucille Wood.

Mrs. Jeanine Ann Goodin Williams, age 57, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born on March 24, 1960 in Lebanon, KY. Jeanine worked at Central Kentucky Ag Credit, was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, and was one of the founders of Lebanon and Marion County’s Good Samaritan Organization. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Francis and Mary Jane Gray Goodin. 

Survivors include her husband, Timothy Mark “Tim” Williams, of Lebanon, KY; son, Timothy Mark Williams, Jr., of Louisville, KY; daughter, Lauren Michelle Williams, of Louisville, KY; brother, Jim Goodin, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Janet Goodin, of West Palm Beach, FL. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer Services will be held at 7:00 Wednesday evening by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Tommy Ray “Tittle” O’Daniel

Mr. Tommy Ray “Tittle” O’Daniel, age 81, passed away with grace and in peace on October 28th surrounded by his twin brother, loving daughter and his close family. Tittle lived a full life on his terms until the end. 

Tommy Ray was a son of Louise Hourigan and Tom O’Daniel of St. Mary’s, KY. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1955 and in the same year purchased his cherished St. Mary’s farm. While he was a gentleman farmer, he worked a full career as a talented and creative tool and dye maker at Angel Manufacturing. His years of retirement were made meaningful and joyful by his great friends he visited on his daily rounds through the community. 

Tommy Ray is survived by his proudest accomplishment, Sandra Kaye Turner (Scott), twin brother, Eddie (Carolyn), brothers, Ray (Doris), Bernie (Rita), all of Louisville, KY, sisters, Rita Ann Beaven, of St. Mary’s, KY, and Peggy Jenkins, of Brandenburg, KY. His brothers Gerald, Bobby, Nace and sister Linda preceded him in death. He loved all his nieces and nephews: Karen, Carm, Ray, Roland, Johnny, Michael, Judy, David, Steven, Jerry, Katie, Joe Pat, Cindy, Dennis, Hugh Allen, Angela, George, Sam, Alfred, Keith, Lori, Erika, Danny, Todd, Quinn, Pat, Bobby, Debbie, Craig, Sheri, Bobby Joe, Ronnie, Thomas, Glenn, Mark and Jeff. 

A celebration of life will be announced for all family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The de Paul School - 2935 Duker Ave. - Louisville, KY 40205

Gloria Jean Tedder Brown of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Delbert Lee Greer and Gladys Leora Chelf Greer, was born May 3, 1929 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her home. Age: 88

She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Southside Christian Church.

She was a floor lady at Fruit of the Loom from which she retired after forty eight years of service.

She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Gloria was famous for her teeny-weenie muffins and fried apple pies.

She united in marriage to Carl Tedder who preceded her in death. She later married Roscoe Brown who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Travis Tedder and wife, Teresa of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jess Tedder and wife, Meg of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shane Tedder and wife, Jarah Jones of Lexington, Keely Kelly and husband, Chad of Springfield and Luke Tedder and wife, Hannah of Elizabethtown; four great-grandchildren: Paxton Tedder, Isabel Tedder, Adalyn Tedder and Sawyer Kelly; five sisters: Helen Chelf of Frankfort, Barbara Sue Walden and husband, Brad of Lexington, Deloris Hicks and husband, Lloyd of Carrollton, Georgia, and Shellie Fay Allen and husband, Jerry and Janice Ilene Spears and husband, Steve of Liberty; one sister-in-law, Martha Greer Brim; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Nanetta Rose and Gordon Kenneth Greer.

​David A Braun, 90 of Jamestown, KY passed away on October 26th at his home.

David was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 7, 1927 a son of the late Marie (Buchert) and George Braun.

He is survived by 
two daughters Deborah (Joseph) Faessler, of Cincinnati, OH
Christine (Charles) Hurst, of VA
three grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Deloris (Dottie) Braun and a sister Thelma Braun.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Jamestown, KY on Nov.8, 2017 at 11:00am with Rev. Nicholas Brown officiating.
Friends may visit after 10:00am at the church.
A celebration of life meal and gathering will be held at the Braun home following the service.

Lillian Lewis, age 90 of Edmonton passed away on Friday, October 27 at Signature Healthcare of Monroe County. She was the daughter of the late Bud Traylor and Sarah Britt.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Annette Jones of Edmonton, Sandra Dehart of Owensboro, Jeanette VanAuken and John Whitlock both of Layfette, Indiana, and Dwayne Jones of Edmonton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lillian was proceeded in death by her parents. Also by one brother, Roy Traylor; a sister Ruth Vernon; two half-brothers Raymond and Clifton Traylor; one half-sister Mae Green; and three children Dearil Jones, Patricia Jester, and Leroy Jennings.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 30 at 1:00pm at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm.

Donnie J. Wheeler, the son of the late Jay and Ida Mae Loy Wheeler, was born Monday, May 2, 1955 in Columbia and departed this life on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his home in the Chance Community of Adair County. He was 62 years, 5 months and 25 days of age.

          He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Emory Chapel United Methodist Church. Donnie was a farmer and former oil well driller and well serviceman for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and most of all, his family and friends.

          Survivors include a daughter: Melissa Patrick and husband Jeff of Crossville, Tennessee; seven sisters: Jeannie (Kerry) Cox of Mannsville, Linda Hendrickson and husband J.W., Connie Wheeler, Phyllis McHam & spouse Jerry Kearney, Patricia Wheeler, Diane Hatcher and husband Doug and Sandy Wheeler and companion Joe Agostini all of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren: Blaine and Colby Pennington, Ambree and Brayden Patrick; his special friends: Herbert and Charlene Turner of Chance and a host of other relatives and friends.

          The funeral service for Donnie J. Wheeler, will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM CST at the Emory Chapel United Methodist Church at Chance with burial to follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Dr. Michelle McHam Perry and Larry Turner will be officiating.
          Visitation after 1:00 P.M. CST at the church.
          L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville in charge of arrangements.
          Memorials are suggested to the Joys Ministries Food Pantry and may be made at the funeral home or at the church on Sunday.

Lewell W. Wilson, 80, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 23, 1937 in Russell County to the late Orvis & Belva Meece Wilson.

Lewell was a retired chemist at Morton International Co. and a member of Russell Springs United Methodist Church.

Interment in the Union Cemetery.

​Herbert Passmore, 73 of Dunnville, KY passed away on October 25th at the Russell County Hospital.
Herbert was born in Dunnville, KY on May 25, 1944 a son of the late Agnes (Cook) and Joe Passmore.

Herbert is survived by  
three sisters Nellie Copley, Pearl Roy and Faye Luttrell
two brothers Carl and Leonard Passmore
A host of nieces and nephew also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Janice Luttrell, Gladys Copley, Fern Hiter and three brothers Carmen, Gene and David Passmore.

Funeral Services will be at the Bethel Baptist Church, Dunnville, Ky on Saturday October 28th 1:00pm with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating.
Friends may visit after 11:00am at the church on Saturday.
Burial in the church cemetery.
