Juanita Cundiff, 81, of Columbia, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Signature Healthcare at Summit Manor. 
She was born January 6, 1936, in Adair County, to the late Johnston & Belle Collins Hunter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cundiff, one daughter, Anita Cundiff, and one brother, James “Tink” Hunter.  She was a member of Egypt Christian Church and a sales clerk at Russell & Company for many years.

Survivors Include:
Two Sons – Bruce (Suzanne) & Paul (Sonia) Cundiff both of Columbia
One Brother – David Lee (Carol Sue) Hunter of Gallatin, TN
Sister-in-law – Marilyn Hunter of Columbia
Five Grandchildren – Derek, Blake, Hunter & Brady Cundiff & Erin McClister
Five Great-Grandchildren
Special Friend – Katherine Parrish
Several other relatives & friends also survive

Mrs. WIllure Hazel Williams Bailey, age 100 of Louisville formerly of the Summersville Community of Green County, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Louisville.

She is survived by her daughter: Bertha Lowery, brother: Amos Williams, 10 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Willure Hazel Williams Bailey will be conducted 12 Noon Friday, March 3, 2017 at the A.D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St., Louisville, KY. with burial in the Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral time at 12 at Friday at A.D. Porter and Sons Funeral Home.

Joyce Hubbard

Joyce Hubbard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Thomas Roots and Dollie Cave Roots, was born May 12, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:30 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Lexington. Age: 83

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
Traveling, shopping and spending time with friends were a few of her favorite things, but her most treasured times were spent with her grandchildren, which she adored.

Joyce united in marriage to James Walker Hubbard December 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death October 16, 1991.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters: J. W. Hubbard and Gary Hubbard of Lexington, Lois Kemp of Campbellsville and Sharon Tepperberg and husband, Alfred of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren: Joseph Walker Hubbard and Katie Hubbard of Lexington, Terron Kemp and wife, Carla and Laura Allison Grannis and husband, Dustin of Mason, Ohio, Leigh Ann Crick and husband, Eric of Indianapolis, Indiana and Benjamin Tepperberg of Cincinnati, Ohio; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Crick of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers: Lawrence Roots and wife, Linda and Bobby Roots and wife, Judy of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Joyce was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Darrell Kemp and a grandson, Matthew Thomas Hubbard.

VISITATION: 5:00P.M.-8:00P.M., Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville

Clifford C. Wesley Jr., age 73, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday February 26th, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born in Liberty, KY on June 1st, 1943 a son of the late Clifford Cleo Wesley Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Cain Wesley.

Clifford was a Farmer, Truck Driver, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. 

Survivors include: His Spouse: Jessie Wesley, One Son: Quinton Ogle and (Brittany) of Liberty, One Daughter: Jessica and (T.J.) Wilcher of Liberty, Six Grandchildren: Preston Hatter, Lane Ogle, Emily Ogle, Hallie Wilcher, Railee Wilcher and Anslee Weddle, One Brother: Richie and (Sandy) Wesley of Hustonville and One Sister: Barbara and (Jackie) Coontz of Stanford. 

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Tuesday February 28th, 2017  at Green River Pentecostal Church and after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday March 1st, 2017 at Green River Pentecostal Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday March 1st, 2017 at Green River Pentecostal Church. Rev. Rick Naylor and Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery.

David Wayne Whitlock age 62 of Center, Kentucky. Went to be with the Lord February 25, 2017. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana to Dewey Whitlock and Dortha Whitlock Hall who both preceded him in death.

He is survived by brothers Joe (Charlene Russell) Whitlock of Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, Steve (Tammy) Whitlock of Lafayette, Indiana. A sister Wendy Kerkhove of Lafayette, Indiana and a brother in law Herb Balser of Lafayette, Indiana. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, uncle, a host of cousins and many good friends here as well as in the Bahamas including Sherry, Gerth, Percy, Ruby, Andy and Donna and too many more to name.

He was of the Christian Faith. He was a Chicago Cubs fan and Perdue University fan. He always enjoyed taking care of other people and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM  Friday, March 3rd at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.

June Etta Cornell age 93 years formerly of the Breeding Community in Adair County Passed away Sunday, Feb, 26, 2017 at 9:40 AM at the Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton, KY.
She was born on April 24, 1923 in Carbondale, PA.
The daughter of the late Marshall Austin & Maude Frances Joslin Dart.

The widow of Lawrence Vernor Cornell who passed away on September 27, 2008 also preceded in death by a Granddaughter Susan Shadle

Survivors include:
Two sons:
Jeffrey Cornell & his wife Melinda of Breeding, KY
Larry Lyndon Cornell & his wife Gayle of Binghampton, New York
One daughter:
Bonnie Austina Budelman & her husband Fred of Durham, North Carolina
Two brothers:
Leon Austin Dart of Otego, New York
Theodore Edwin Dart of Auburn, New York
6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren
several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives & friends survive

She was the oldest known member of the Methodist Church in Otego, New York & a homemaker

Freda Stayton of the Christie Chapel community, daughter of the late Robert Welby Stayton and Lear Ruth Christie Stayton, was born August 22, 1940, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:15 A.M. Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Elizabethtown. Age: 76

She attended Christie Chapel United Methodist Church.

Freda loved coloring, teddy bears and was very happy all the time. She also loved everyone and seeing the “preacher man” as she called her pastor.

She is survived by three brothers and one sister: William R. Stayton and wife, Gladys of Campbellsville, Jewel Dean Flinchum of Elk Horn, Leadis R. Stayton and wife, Suzie of Johnsburg, Illinois and Lanious R. Stayton of Covington; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Welby Richard Stayton in infancy, Leora Devine and Beatrice Burton.

Helen Miller, 89, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Russell County Hospital.  She was born October 28, 1927 in Russell County to the late Lloyd & Ollie Holt Smith.

She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Miller; brother, Harold Smith; sister, Hulda Bradshaw

Fern Spears, age 82 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her home. Fern was born on January 08, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Allen Osby Spears and Cassie Capps Spears. Fern was a member of Red Banks United Methodist Church and a former employee of OshKosh B'Gosh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Huddleston, and three brothers, Stanley Spears, Lloyd Spears, and Keen Spears.
