Richard Barnett of Campbellsville, son of William Blain Barnett and Mary Liza Johnson Barnett, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 11, 1929. He died at 8:35 A.M., Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. 
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. 
He united in marriage to Virginia Pike August 6, 1948. 

Besides his wife, Virginia Barnett, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Ricky Barnett and Elizabeth Sanders; three grandchildren: Jeffrey Sanders and wife, Donna, Tammy Sanders Cook and Clint Barnett; four great-grandchildren: Ashley Sanders, Tori Sanders, MaKenna Cook and Johnna Cook, all of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister: Leonard Barnett and wife, Jenny and Mary Kathryn Lawson of Campbellsville and Ralph Barnett and wife, Dorothy of Mt. Washington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. 
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters: Huley Barnett, James Barnett, Everett Lewis “Dude” Barnett, Owen Thomas Barnett, Velma Christerson, Clara Brown, Mattie Lou Price and Esther Roberts. 

VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Steven Joseph Pfoff, 55, of Jamestown, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born November 20, 1959 in Lexington, Ky to Billy Joe & Loretta Reynolds Pfoff who survive.

Survivors include
2 children: Lindsey Guzman, Lexington and Dalton Pfoff, Jamestown
parents: Billy Joe & Loretta Pfoff, Jamestown
1 sister: Debra Nickell, Denver, Colorado
2 brothers: Scott Pfoff, Houston, TX and  Mark Pfoff, Colorado Springs, CO

John Sam Potts, 74, of Columbia, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 4:36 A.M. at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.   

He was born August 30, 1941, in Taylor County, to the late Thomas & Shada Smith Potts.  He was a member of Columbia Christian Church and retired from Columbia Utilities. 

Survivors Include: 
His Wife – Bobbie Janes Potts of Columbia 
One Son – Jeff (Jane) Potts of Columbia 
One Daughter – Jerri (Steve) Nixon of Columbia 
Two Brothers – Clifford & Rhuel Potts both of Louisville 
Two Grandchildren – Trenton Watson & Trinity Carta 
Two Step-Grandchildren – Tiffany Darling & Patricia Tupman 
Six Step-Great-Grandchildren 

Graveside Service – Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Martin officiating

Glenna Nadine Keltner

Glenna Nadine Keltner, age 95, passed to her rest on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Mrs. Keltner was born in Cork, Kentucky on May 24,1920 to the late Mike and Rosa (Harris) Shoultz. Her childhood was spent in Metcalfe County. She attended White Oak Elementary and graduated from Metcalfe County High School in 1938.

Mrs. Keltner is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Keltner, cherished children, Patricia Ann, Jan, David and Jimmy. Her beloved sisters, Lavene Free, Phyll Head, Margie Yott, and her brother Emerson Estile, Step-Grandson Jason Rael, and Great-Grandson, Kyle Keltner.

Mrs. Keltner was the spiritual backbone, not only of the family, but the community in which she lived. She was a founding member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Columbia. She was a spiritual inspiration in her simple faith and ways. She showed this daily in her personal walk with anyone and everyone, no matter who they were. Her lessons of faith, love and charity were with her in her daily life and passed on to a devoted family. She was an avid reader and a passionate master gardener. She enjoyed board games, and was unbeatable at Scrabble.

Those left to cherish her memory are six children: Kenneth Keltner, (Elaine Chaille') Carmel, Indiana; Rosemary Collins, Bardstown, Kentucky; Penelope Rael, Questa, New Mexico; Nancy Keltner, Bardstown, Kentucky; Bobby Keltner (Melissa Harris) Columbia, Kentucky; Keith Dee Keltner (Alice Poirier) Questa, New Mexico.

Eighteen Grandchildren: Eric and Kevin Keltner; Allyson Keltner; Jennifer Collins Riggs; Daniel, Gabriel, Tammy, Brian Rael; Thaddeus and Ethan Keltner, Sarah Keltner Simmons; Shalla and Kent Mirkhani; Andrew, Eva,Therese and Alex Keltner.

Eleven Great-Grandchildren: Kassandra Downing, Luke Keltner; Kristina Caetano, Nicholas, Hunter, and Kaleb Keltner; Madilyn and Collin Riggs; Addelyn Keltner; Elayna and Noah David Keltner. And her Great-Great Grandson, Carter Downing.

Her loving family will be commemorating her life on Sunday, November 1st, 2015.
With a funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Stotts, Phelps and McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, Kentucky.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Sunday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial to follow in the Parnell-Keltner Cemetery, Keltner, Ky.

Rebecca Jean Rogers, 61, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital. She was born January 4, 1954 in Russell County to Maxine Back Bledsoe and
the late Allen Bledsoe.

She was a clerk for Warner Fertilizer Co. and a member of Creelsboro Christian Church.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Rogers.

Survivors
1 daughter: Somer Sturgis, Houston, TX
1 step son: Jamie Rogers, Russell Springs

Christine Flatt Coomer age 99 years a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center Columbia, KY passed away Thursday Oct. 29, 2015 at 5:25 A.M. at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room. 

She was born on Aug. 7, 1916 in Adair County, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Willie & Bell Jessie Flatt the widow of Arnold Coomer who preceded in death on Oct. 20, 1993 also preceded in death by infant daughter Betty Frances Coomer, one granddaughter Teresia Wilson in 1958, one son Charles Thomas Coomer in 1957, five brothers Ira, Noah, Tommy, Delbert & Jessee Flatt, Four sisters Sada Janes, Vada Gowen, Dorothy League, Edna Fudge

She is survived by two daughters Patsy (Bruce) Wilson of Columbia, KY and Carol (Starriett) Johnson of Columbia, KY
Two sons Doug (JoAnn) Coomer of Mt. Washington, KY and Dwight (Tammy Burton) Coomer of Columbia, KY
6 Grandchildren Tammy Wilson, Rodney Coomer, Chris Wilson, Tina Johnson, Stacy Coomer, Jason Coomer
5 Great Grandchildren Simon Wilson, Gracie Wilson, Peyton Christine Coomer,
Jacob Coomer & Hannah Coomer

Myra Jean Meece, 90, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Hoome in Jamestown. She was born August 28, 1925 in Russell County to the late Laten & Mary Lee Roy McFarland.


She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded inn death by her husband, Arlo Meece; 5 brothers, Chesley McFarland, Earl McFarland, Leslie McFarland, Roy McFarland, Garley McFarland; 3 sisters, Edra Wade, Maisy Emerson, Marcia Roy.

Wilma Jean Lynch, 69, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was born March 10, 1946 in Laurel County to the late Wes & Minnie Goforth Hale.

She was a former employee of Superior Battery and attended Coffey's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include husband: Wayne Lynch, Russell Springs
2 children: Lonnie Dean Burdine, Russell Springs and Sherrie Burdine (Mark) Beard, Liberty, Ky
4 grandchildren: Rachel Burdine, Wyatt Burdine, John Luke Beard, Sarah Ruth Beard
2 great grandchildren
1 brother: Sylvester Hale, London, Ky.

Joyce Goff of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jess W. Wilkerson and Cordelia Johnson Wilkerson, was born October 12, 1939, in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She died at 3:35 P.M., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 76 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of the Farm Service Agency in Campbellsville. 

She united in marriage to Cecil “Gus” Goff, Jr. October 12, 1957. He preceded her in death September 10, 1993. 

She is survived by her son-in-law, Terry White; two grandchildren: Ashley Judd and husband, J. P. and Anthony White; a sister-in-law, Linda Gabehart, all of Campbellsville; several nieces and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna White October 7, 2015 and a brother, Colby Wilkerson August 2, 1987.

Evellean Bell Smith Keith

Evellean Bell Smith Keith was born February 4, 1929 in McCreary County, the daughter of the late Wilburn Bell and Bethada Rednour Bell. She passed away Tuesday. October 27, 2015.

At the age of 18 she met Levi Smith and were married January 24, 1947 in Monticello. After 34 years of marriage Levi passed away November 30, 1980.

She later married Elburn Keith who passed away August 25, 1998.

Evellean farmed for 25 years, worked at the Golden Years Nursing Home for four years and four years at Keith's Market and retired at 62. She was saved and joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church of McCreary County in 1943. She later moved her letter to Cooper Baptist Church and attended was long as her health permitted.

She had four brothers and six sisters. Surviving are two sisters: Bertha Abbott of Stearns and Emma Redmon of Monticello.

Visitation: Thursday, October 29th,  from 5 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services: Friday,October 30th, at 1 p.m. at Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
Interment: in Sherd Dobbs Cemetery
