CURTIS EUGENE HADLEY 45, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:09 AM at the TJ Health Columbia in Columbia, KY.  He was born June 24, 1972 in Columbia, KY the son of the late Claude “Poodle” Hadley.

Survived by his mother; Donna Marie Schneider Harmon of Columbia, KY
His wife:  Kathryn “ Kate”  Marie Foster  Hadley of Columbia, KY
One sister:  Catherine Louise Beard of Columbia, KY
One brother in law: Carlos Ray Foster of Columbia, KY
One sister in law: Amandjewell Michelle Foster of Columbia, KY
7 nieces and 2 nephews

Curtis was a member of the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church he enjoyed fishing, television and family time.

Frances Antle age 82 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.  She was born on May 22, 1935 at Gadberry, KY.  The daughter of the late Joe Lee & Eva Mae McFarland Gadberry. 

Preceded in death by one brother Joseph Allan Gadberry on July 1, 2017

She is survived by her husband Kenton Antle of Columbia, KY
One son: 
Brett (Lisa) Antle of Nicholasville, KY
Two Sisters:
Alice Gadberry of Columbia, KY
Elaine Turner of Columbia, KY
Niece, nephew, other relatives & friends survive

She was a member of Jamestown Church of Christ, house wife, she Loved the Lord,

Vince W. Beane, 45, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on March 27th at the Russell County Hospital.  He was born in Somerset, KY on September 3, 1972 a son of the late R.C. Beane and Doris (Wilson) Hadley,of Russell Springs, KY.

Son Vincent Beane
Two daughters Bobbie Jo York and Amy Beane
Brother Jason Bernard
Three sisters Becky Corhn, Jamie Daniels, and Samantha Hadley
Granddaughter Anna York.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services will be Friday March 30th at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY at 2:00pm with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00am.

Linda Lou Spalding

Linda Lou Spalding, age 77 of Lebanon, KY passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born on July 8, 1940 in Burgin, Ky.

She graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1958 and Eastern Kentucky University in 1962. After teaching in Ohio and Kentucky Linda Lou retired after 35 years of teaching in the Cobb County Georgia school system. She was a devoted member of the Holy Name of Mary Catholic church. The cabin on the hill and her antique car were her pride and joy. In recent years Linda could be found mowing yards around town and touring Lebanon on her three-wheel scooter. 


Linda Lou greatly enjoyed and deeply loved her special cousins in the area: Joyce Ann Spalding, Pat-Lucille Spalding, Sam-Brenda Spalding, Rob-Sue Ann Spalding, Mike-Rita Spalding, Mike-Mary Ann Dotson, Carl-Glenda Spalding, Tim-Rosie Spalding. Mark-Debbie Spalding

She is preceded in death by:
Parents Joseph L and Mary Beatrice Luckett Spalding 
Special Aunt Mildred Spalding
Great-niece Myra Carter
Great-nephew Joseph Carter

Survivors include:
Sisters; Jo Ann James of Inglis, Fl and Betty Feagins of Gainesville, Tx
Nieces; Teresa Thomas of Yankeetown, Fl and Jo Lynn Black of Lewisville, Tx
Nephews; David James of Newport Richey, Fl, Jim Black of Boerne, Tx, and Joseph James of Tampa, Fl

Also surviving are eight great-nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church,306 Calvary Church Rd, Lebanon, KY on Monday, April 2, 2018, 11:00AM. Internment will be at the church cemetery following the mass.

Visitation will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Sunday, April 1, 2018, from 3:00-8:30 P.M.  Prayers will be begin at 7:00PM

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary at 515 Nerinx Rd, Nerinx, KY 40049, Attn: Michelle Essex.

Julienne Elizabeth Chouteau Booth, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her residence. She was 58.   Born on February 15, 1960, in Trenton, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Miriam Murphy Chouteau.

​Julienne loved art and dolls.

She was a very loving mother and was a firm believer in Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Fulton Booth, whom she married on June 15, 1989; two sons, Joseph (Samantha) Booth of Eubank and Noah Booth of Liberty; five daughters, Jeanette (Kenneth) Rought of Liberty, Meghan (Anthony) McFarland of Liberty, Teresa (Ernest) Wilson of Liberty, Sarah (Tyler) Hatter of Liberty and Brenna Booth of Liberty. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Warren officiating. A private burial will be held in the Booth Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Larry Tweedy, 47 of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:49 AM at the Baptist Health Care in Louisville, KY after several years illness.
He was the son of the late Preston Tweedy and was preceded in death by a brother Jeff Tweedy in 2006 and his step mother: Dottie Law

Survived by his mother;  Dorothy Bardin Loy and step father Harold Loy of Columbia, KY
His wife:    Starr Patton Tweedy of Columbia, KY
Two sisters:   Janeatte Kelsay (Timmy)  of Glensfork, KY,   Diane Boller (Gary) of Columbia, KY
Brother and sister in laws: Jimmy & Rosemary Harmon, Lloyd & Lynn Curtis, Willie Patton all of Columbia, KY   James Alfred & Evie Patton of North Vernon, Indiana
Also survived by several nieces and nephews

Larry attended the Egypt Christian Church and worked for Allen’s Pest Control in Campbellsville for several years. Larry enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and playing with his dog.

Henry Paul Tucker, age 64, of Raywick, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. 
He was born on August 02, 1953 in Marion County, Kentucky.

Robert Lee "Bobby" Watson

Mr. Robert Lee "Bobby" Watson of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Lee Watson and Catherine Elizabeth Livers Watson, was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1938 in Lebanon, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 79 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age.

He had made profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Columbia. He was also a retired Aerial Observer for the Division of Forestry. 

Survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon Gupton Watson of Greensburg, having united in marriage on August 24, 1985.
Other survivors include a brother and sister-in-law: Ray and RosAnna Watson of Louisville; a sister: Brenda Penn of Georgetown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Watson was also preceded in death by a brother and sister: Joe Mattingly and Elizabeth Strange.

The funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee "Bobby" Watson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. J.W. Bennett and Bro. Eudell Stilts officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4:30 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.

Vena Wethington of Liberty, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her home.  She was 75 years of age.

Born April 8, 1942 in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Murrell and Cyrilla Jane Wethington.  Vena was a homemaker and member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.  She loved quilting and reading.  Vena also enjoyed watching red birds.

Survivors include one brother, David Wethington of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Roberta Price and Janet (Ronald) Davis, both of Liberty; one sister-in-law, Nancy Wethington of Cincinnati, Ohio; and fifteen nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bradford Wethington; and a brother-in-law, Junior Price.

Memorial services are 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 2, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Deacon Joe Dant officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Monday at the church.

Ruby Janell Curry Montgomery, age 89 of Lexington, a native of Green County, passed away Tuesday at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Richard Potts of Lexington.

Three sons and daughters-in-law: Bennie and Linda Montgomery of Greensburg, David and Tanya Montgomery, and John and Kathleen Montgomery all of Lexington.

Seven grandchildren: Jennifer Montgomery Ball of Greensburg, Sarah and Billie Lockard, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" and Scott Brockman all of Campbellsville, Richard "Chip" Potts of Tennessee, Jonathan Potts of Florida, Sean and Natalie Montgomery, and Donald Montgomery all of Lexington.

10 great-grandchildren: Emily Ball, Aley Ball, Jackson Martin, Nick Martin, Ben Martin, Gracie Montgomery, Jacob Hayes, Noah Janes, Rien Potts, and Henry Potts.

The funeral services for Ruby Janell Curry Montgomery will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
