Grace I. “Sis” Cambron, age 89 of Raywick, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born June 5, 1926 in Raywick to the late Joseph Clell and Josephine Galloway Mattingly. She formerly worked at Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chester “Check” Cambron; three sons, Joseph Douglas, John Barry and Carl Michael Cambron; two brothers, Charles Leon “Doc” Mattingly and Thomas Jasper “Pete” Mattingly.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Johnson (Albert) of Lebanon; two sons, George Cambron (Betty) and Dennis Cambron (Nadine) all of Raywick; 10 grandchildren, Chuck Cambron, Mark Cambron, Gi Gi Edelen, Jason Cambron, Michael Cambron, Shelly Cambron, Jay Hutchins, Craig Johnson, Tracy Johnson and Matt Cambron; 28 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Ann Thomas of Raywick, Virginia “Bussie” Thomas and Diane Mills (Tommy) all of Louisville; four brothers, Clell “Al” Mattingly Jr., Larry “Hawk” Mattingly (Dorothy) and Gerald “Jake” Mattingly (Karen) all of Raywick and Merriell Mattingly (Opal) of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. The Rev. James W. Graf will officiate.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.

Minor England, 77, of Columbia, KY, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at 6:37 A.M. at his home. 

He was born January 24, 1938, in Adair County, to the late Arvin and Artie England.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrin Minor England.  He was employed by the City of Columbia for 30 years, retiring as Sanitation Department Supervisor, was an avid fox hunter and attended Egypt Christian Church. 

Survivors include: 
His wife – Judy Bryant England of Columbia 
One daughter – Breanna (Daryl) Bolin of Columbia 
One brother – Stanley England of Louisville 
One sister – Barbara Harned of Louisville 
Two grandchildren – Samuel Darrin Locker and Alexander Payne Bolin 
Several other relatives and friends 

Funeral service – Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating 

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery 

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday 

In lieu of flowers, Minor requested donations to St. Jude’s, which may be left at the funeral home

Ruby Dale Pollard, 65, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 8:30 A.M. at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. 

She was born April 1, 1950, in Adair County, to the late Carlo and Floye Marie Grider Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wendell Taylor. 

Survivors include: 
Her husband – Ronnie Pollard of Columbia 
One son – Troy (Susan) Pollard of Columbia 
One daughter – Tammy Campbell of Columbia 
Three grandchildren – Cody Grant, Jordan & Emma Pollard 
Special family members – Chris (Becky) Sharpe and daughter, Brynlee 
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home 

At Ruby’s request, cremation has taken place and private burial will be held by the family

He was born March 14, 1960, in Adair County, to the late Kermit “Roscoe” and Jeraldene “Deanie” Feese Tucker and was a former employee of Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon 

Survivors include: 
His wife – Melody Bright Tucker of Columbia 
One son – Jeremy “Cotton” Tucker (Terry Noe) of Columbia 
Two daughters – Sovanna Pendleton (Shawn) and Lou Anne Tucker all of Columbia 
Three brothers – Clayton Tucker of Columbia, Bryan Tucker of Campbellsville, Stacey Tucker of Edinburgh, IN 
Two sisters – Georginia Coffey of Campbellsville and Millie Foster of Columbia 
Seven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends

Arlo Neat, 85, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9:40 A.M. at his home. 

He was born August 16, 1929, in Neat Hollow, to the late Willie Frank and Della Lee Blair Neat.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rena Disney.  He was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church and a retired farmer. 

Survivors include: 
His wife – June Dickerson Neat of Columbia 
Two sons – The Rev. William Jessee (Virginia “Jenny”) Neat of Frankfort and Sean (Angie) Neat of Columbia 
Three grandchildren – William S. (Lisa) Neat of Morgantown, Ashley Neat of Pennsylvania and Jamie Neat of Columbia

She was born January 2, 1951 in Columbia, KY the daughter of the late: Willie Evanus and Edith Stapleton Curtsinger

Mrs. Keith is survived by two sons: Davey Keith and wife Shirley of Columbia, KY, Joey Keith and fiancee' Desiree Gordon of Columbia, KY.

One brother: Davis Curtsinger of Jamestown, KY

One sister: Sue Stapp of Jamestown, KY

Three grandchildren: Jamie Keith and wife Heather, Jessica Keith and Tristen Keith

Ruby Mae Flanagan, 87, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Saturday, June 27th, at Russell County Hospital.

Ruby was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 19, 1928, daughter of the late Delilah (Stargle) and Frank Chumbley.

She was a homemaker and member of Clear Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by:

One daughter, Patty Bolin, of Russell Springs, KY; a son,William Ragle, of New Tazewell, TN; 

She is survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruby is also survived by a sister, Oneda Corner, of Russell Springs, KY. a brother, Gene Chumbley, of Russell Springs, KY;

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 30th, with Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating. Visitation after 5 PM on Monday at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs.

Interment at Parks Ridge Cemetery Russell Springs, KY.

late Benjamin Harrison & Loretta Belle Polston LaFavers. She was a homemaker.

Wayne R. Phillips, Glasgow, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Hugh Leonard Phillips and Rebecca Wilson Phillips, was born March 23, 1943 in Peoria, Illinois. He died at 7:05 P.M., Monday, June 22, 2015 in Glasgow. Age: 72
He is survived by two brothers and one sister: Bobby Phillips of Magnolia, Rollin Phillips of Louisville and Brenda Siegrist of Holiday, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: William Edward Phillips and Charles Phillips and Nellie Jane Phillips in infancy.         

Cremation was chosen by the family.
