She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a nurse for Dr. Harry Huntsman and the late Dr. George Cheatham.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Darcy and Kirby Pruitt of Summersville; a son and daughter-in-law: Darren and Tabitha Rayburn of Columbia; seven grandchildren: Andrew Pruitt of Summersville, Kylie Rayburn, Kendrick Rayburn, Kendra Rayburn, Kaleb Rayburn, Kyle Rayburn, and Korbin Rayburn all of Columbia; a brother and sister-in-law: Wade H. and Sue Ann Milby of Green County; a brother-in-law: Paul Cravens of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Rayburn was also preceded in death by a sister: Juanita Cravens.
The funeral services for Winnie Milby Rayburn will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Jones Family Cemetery in the Mount Sherman Community of Green County. Bro. Blake Jessie will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to the Jones Family Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
