She was born June 27, 1941, in Burkesville, Kentucky, to the late Andy & Lula Morrison York.

Two sons – Robert (Andrea) Chapman of Columbia, Mark Burton of Nashville, TN
Eight grandchildren – Jennifer, Kayla, Kayden, Ryder, Ayden, Chloe, Dandre & Lindsey
Two brothers – Buck York of Columbia, Preston York of Burkesville
One sister – Elizabeth Burton of Columbia
