William Scott Swift, age 39, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 8, 2015) in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on June 4, 1976 in Breckinridge County, KY, the son of William Ralph and Candy Collard Swift.
He was a carpenter with Embry Enterprises. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, horses, and fishing. He was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Candy Swift; son, Bailey Swift; sister, Gail Edwards and her husband, Mike; grandmother, Martha Collard; two nieces, MacKenzie and Madison Edwards; his significant other, Tonya Hart; all of Leitchfield; several cousins, and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbie and Aline Swift, and Carl Collard.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (December 12, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Dunaway will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
