He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church, and was a truck driver most of his life.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Josie Unive Vincent Dial of Greensburg, having united in marriage on June 2, 1961.
Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Ruth and H.L. Wright of Green County; two sons and a daughter-in-law: William Lloyd and Angela Dial, and Earl Dial all of Green County; three grandchildren: Jeremy Dial and his wife, Sarah, Justin Dial and his wife, Jessica all of Green County, and Jacob Martin Dial of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Jena Dial, Joy Dial, Jace Dial, and Jennifer Dial; four brothers and four sisters: Luther (Brenda) Dial of Summersville, Johnnie (Regina) Dial, Bobby Dial, Cora Mae (David) Armer, Sue (Bill) Murrey all of Green County, Magaline (James) Skaggs, Billy (Leetta) Dial, Janie (Jim) Borders all of Campbellsville; a brother-in-law: Larry Eads of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Dial was also preceded in death by a sister: Doris Eads on September 30, 2010.
The funeral services for William Dial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Justin Dial, and Bro. Jerry Lynn Scott officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green Hill Activity Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
