He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Nazarene Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Navy and worked for Caterpillar Industries as a machinist for 30 years.
He united in marriage to Jeanne Eleanor Lobb on December 11, 1981 who preceded him in death on November 23, 2020.
Survivors include five daughters and spouses: Judy and Lowell Gray of Michigan, Bonnie Ferguson, Sandra Pfaff, Marsha and Mauria Koonce, Sheila Hargis all of Illinois; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Darrell Lobb of Campbellsville, Jack and Lura Thompson of Missouri; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Cindy and Jay Damron of Edmonton, Patricia Day of Illinois; a sister-in-law: Tate Lobb of Elizabethtown; 20 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Dale Lobb, Sam Delana Lobb, Marshall Lobb, and Ronnie Lobb.
The funeral services for Walter Thomas “Tommy” Lobb will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Honor Guard. Rev. Jay Damron officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday until time of the funeral service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
