Stephen Ray Wethington, age 67, died Friday, September 18, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born March 2, 1948, in Taylor Co., KY, he was a son of the late Charles T. Wethington and Effie Hendrickson Wethington. He was a farmer and a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. Steve will be remembered by his many friends and relatives for his acts of kindness and his willingness to help his friends and neighbors.
Survivors include his sister, Alice Wethington Buckley of Frankfort; brothers, Charles T. Wethington, Jr. of Lexington, Ben Wethington of Georgetown, IN, Paul Wethington of Louisville, and Vincent Wethington of Liberty.
There will be a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM Monday, September 21, 2015, at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father Tom Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Sunday at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Hendrickson, Brandon Murphy, John, Frank, and Rick Wethington, and Jeff Foster.
