Sherian Rose Montgomery 64 of Glasgow died Monday, January 25, 2016 at T. J. Samson Hospital. Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Addis Poteet and Ethel Spinks Poteet. Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker and a former employee of Mancino's in Glasgow. She was a member of Boiling Springs General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters Leeanna Montgomery of Glasgow and Serena Montgomery (David Rogers) of Cave City; 6 grandchildren Jordan Netherton (Brandon), Anastasia Jackson, James Jackson, Kristine Montgomery, Casey and Tyler Walsh; 5 great grandchildren Bryson Netherton, Ava Netherton, Andrew and Corbyn Walsh and Grayson Netherton; 2 sisters Jane Cherry and Sheila Sanders. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lee Montgomery, a daughter Angela Sue Montgomery and a brother Gene Poteet.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11:30am Saturday, January 30th at the Boiling Springs General Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 5pm until 7pm and Saturday morning at the church from 10am until 11:30.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
