Sarah Lucille Rankin Kirkpatrick, 86 of Hustonville passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at her residence. Born April 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Chrisman Rankin.
She retired from American Greetings and was a member of Hustonville Baptist Church. Sarah loved gardening, quilting and playing golf.
She is survived by three sons: Michael Kirkpatrick of Danville, David Kirkpatrick of Hustonville and Hal (Sharon) Kirkpatrick of Stanford; three daughters: Joan Kathlina (Bill) of Lexington, Eva (Jeff) VonGruenigen of Hustonville and Patti (Jody) Meador of Northern Kentucky; one brother, Clarence Lee Rankin of Danville; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Ronnie Huff with burial at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Visitation is after 11 am, Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Jeff VonGruenigen, Ben VonGruenigen, Rodney Munford, Hunter Munford, Vince Coppola and Craigory Coppola.
