Mrs. Sandra Ann Mardis, age 65 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 9, 1950 in Lebanon, KY. Mrs. Mardis was a former employee of the Marion County Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell J. Smith; mother, Halla Bright; sister, Pamela Steck.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, John Paul Mardis, of Lebanon, KY; son, Joe Kelly Johnson, of Campbellsville, KY; four grandchildren, Mary Beth and Cameron Daniels and Kelli Jo and Ty Johnson; brother, Mike Smith, of Hodgenville, KY.
At the wishes of Mrs. Mardis, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal visitation. It was also her wishes to have a private family gathering.
