Born September 7, 1922 in Casey County, KY , she was the daughter of the late Lillard and Ella Vanoy Davis. She was a homemaker and farmer. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Walter Patten, who died July 3, 1995; 3 children, Walter Patten, Jr, Marion Patton, and Russell Patten; 2 brothers, Ray and Earl Davis; and sister, Ruby Davis.
Survivors include 6 sons, Curtis Patten of Liberty, Lewis (and Julita) Patten of Dunnville, Lowell Patten of Liberty, Andrew (and Judy) Patten of Dunnville, Dallas (and Ledia) Patten of Liberty, and Kenneth Patten of Middleburg; 5 daughters, Tina Patten of Liberty, Carol (and Terry) Wethington of Liberty, Roxie Short of Dayton, Ohio, Marie (and Gary) Smith of London, KY, and Charlotte Ali of Dayton, Ohio; 2 brothers, Carl Davis of Illinois and Herbert Davis of Dunnville; 2 sisters, Hazel Norman of Summan, Indiana and Gladys Jessie of Columbia; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 27, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Greg Short, Robbie Short, James Smith, Kevin Patten, Curtis Patten, Kerry Patten, Zackary Patten and Rickie Patten.
