Rufus Eugene Ray, 57 of Mt. Salem passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Born September 25, 1958, He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Bessie Little, father, Rufus Ray, Jr and step-father, Wilbur Cadle England.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Jean England; his wife, Veda Maples Ray; son, Jordan Ray; daughters, Danielle Powell and Jessica Stanley; four brothers: Greg Ray and Robert, Jim and Kenneth England; and five grandchildren: Hailey and Austin Powell and Emily, Daniel and Katie Stanley.
He was an employee of Tarter Gate Company.
Services will be at 11 am, Monday at Green River Pentecostal Church by Rev. Rick Naylor with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jim, Robert, Kenneth and Jared England, Greg Ray and Scott Stanley. Visitation is 5-9 pm, Sunday. Guestbook@www.wlpruitt.com
