Roy Elizabeth Burris, 98, formerly of Columbia, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:40 P.M. at Diversicare of Glasgow in Glasgow, KY
She was born August 3, 1917, to the late Lymon and Elizabeth Martin Keltner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Burris. She was correspondent for the Cool Springs community for the Adair County papers for many years
Survivors include:
One son – Leon Burris of Columbia
One daughter – Dorothy Brock of Louisville
Six grandchildren - Karen Brock, Rhonda Thomas, Darrell Brock, Richard, Doug & Shannon Burris
Several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Monday, September 7, 2015 at 12 Noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Janes, Bro. David Hansel and Bro. Shaun Thomas officiating
