Rova was born on October 12, 1921 in Nancy, KY to the late Bernard Tarter and Myrtle Beshears Tarter.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert Lindon (and Donna) Molden of Lexington; two daughters, Donna (and Roy) Hunley of Somerset and Glenda (and Quinton) Smith of Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Caroline Molden; a brother, Carl Tarter of Nancy, KY; a sister, Marjorie Halcomb of Somerset, KY; five grandchildren, Tammy Pence, Sheila Moore, Eric Molden, Timothy Smith and Patrick Hunley; and eight great-grandchildren, Jerrad Molden, Josh Pence, Alex Pence, Casey Denney, Logan Denney, Whitley Hunley, Brenna Molden and Madison Smith.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dewey Molden, who preceded her on February 25, 2015; one son, Roy B. Molden; two brothers, Don E. Tarter and Dewell Tarter; and two sisters, Angie Wilson and Creola Simpson.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Shanks officiating. Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
