Roger Britt, 76, of Scottsville, KY died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, a carpenter and member of Old Liberty Church. He was a son of the late William Homer Britt and Myrtie Pauline Tinsley Britt.
He is survived by his wife: Charity Britt, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Billy Joe Britt, Bowling Green, KY and Jerry Lee Britt and wife, Christina, Adolphus, KY;
3 daughters: Peggy Sue Ashley and husband, Chuck, Adolphus, KY; Patty Louisa Deel and husband, Steven and Evelyn Rechelle Whitaker, all of Morgantown, KY;
2 sisters: Louise Donovan, Scottsville KY and Wanda Alford and husband, Wiley, Portland, TN;
6 grandchildren: Amber Dawn Manning, Shawn Britt, Bobby Joe Britt, Dustin Cooper, Telia Gidcumb and Kenna Whitaker;
5 great grandchildren: Robin Britt, Donnie Lee Britt, Rose Britt, Dalton Britt and Brailee Gidcumb;
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Donnie Lee Britt; 3 brothers: Manule Britt, Lewis Wayne Britt and Bobby Gene Britt.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Otis Brooks officiating and burial in Chestnut Point Cemetery. Visitation will be after10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home.
