Robert was born in Park City, KY on December 31, 1947, a son of the late Marjorie (Hogan) and Robert Merideth.
He served in the U.S. Army and the USAR for 22 years, he fought in the TET Offensive-Kontum and Battle of Lang VIE. He recieved several Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.
He retired from the Military.

wife Rhonda Carol (Arnold) Scott Merideth, of Franklin, KY
a son, Chris, husband of Laura Merideth, of Jamestown, KY;
two step daughters, Beverly Cowles, of Scottsville, KY; Tori, wife of James Goodrum, of Franklin, KY;
a step son, Jason Mulligan, of Franklin, KY;
a sister, Treva, wife of Eric Childress, of Park City, KY.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Martha (Britt) Merideth, brother Donald Merideth and a grandson Matthew Merideth.
The family chose care and cremation.
