Born April 4, 1959, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Tholet Franklin and Jewell Mae Harrison Lee. Richard was the owner/operator of RPC Automotive Parts. He was a former member of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge #722. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard was of the Baptist faith and was loved and respected by all that knew him.
Survivors include his sons, Dustin (Hillery) Lee of Louisville and Darren (Hannah) Lee of Bardstown; brothers, Ray (Carolyn) Lee of Bardstown, Cecil (Margie) Lee of Cincinnati, OH, Charles (Barbara) Lee and Lowell (Judy) Lee, both of Liberty, Leland (Carol) Lee of Columbia, and Vernon (Jewell) Lee of Dunnville; sisters, Norma (Rex) Lockard of Jeffersonville, IN, Ina Ellis of Dunnville, and Linda (Winfory) Evans and Leveta (Mike) Burns, both of Hustonville; and one grandson, Colton Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Gregory Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Leslie Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
John Reeves, John Lockard, Travis Burns, Doug and Steve Lee, and Warren Emerson will serve as pallbearers.
Richard’s nieces and nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
