Ms. Brown had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith.
She retired as a food service professional from Pioneer Catering at Campbellsville University and was currently employed as a bus monitor for the Taylor County School District. She loved her family, and in her free time, enjoyed socializing with friends and family and was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
One son: Richard “Bubby” Brown, Jr. and wife Myra of Greensburg,
One daughter: Dana Cox Welch and husband Joseph Michael Cox of Campbellsville,
A chosen family: Tonya and Clint McDonald and their children of Mississippi,
Five siblings: Mitchell Clayton Seaborne and wife Maureen of Mannsville, Phyllis Fennell and husband Roland of Mt. Washington, Norman L. Seaborne of Campbellsville, Coakley Seaborne, Jr. and wife Rita of Elk Horn, and Phillip Clay Seaborne and companion Sandy of Campbellsville,
Eight grandchildren: Jacob Scott Welch, Joshua Seth Welch, Lyrik Marr and husband Landon, Micahla Sears, Jayla Sears, Caselynn Brown, Remy Brown, and Ryan Sears,
Two great-grandchildren: Daxton Sears and Rhylee Riggs,
Special friends: Kim Fitzgerald and Julie Franklin,
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three siblings: David Douglas Seaborne, Paul Allen Seaborne, and Mildred Seaborne.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Brown on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Travis Bright will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 28, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
