Ralph Willis Claywell, 78, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:05 A.M. at Summit Manor Health & Rehab.
He was born September 4, 1937, in Breeding, Kentucky, to the late Coy and Lucy Branham Claywell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers; Sue Ann, Herbert & Donnie Claywell. He was a former truck driver for Pyles Concrete and a farmer.
Survivors include:
One son – Justin Claywell of Columbia
One daughter – Selenia Wells of Burkesville
Five grandchildren – Ashley Claywell Burns, Kristy Claywell, Jenna Claywell, Jacqueline Wells, Hannah Wells
One great-grandchild – Chloe Lanz
Three brothers – George R. Claywell of Arkansas, Rhymon “Shorty” Claywell of Russell Springs, Lindell Claywell of Lexington
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives
At Ralph’s request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held later
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Gideon Bibles and may be made at the funeral home
