He was born July 9, 1925 in Chance, KY the son of the late: Tom Paul and Mary Sue Hill Lewis besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Coleman Lewis & Mack Lewis, four sisters Euna Sullivan, Nadine Baker, Katherine Molene Stotts and Geneva Morrison
Survived by his wife of 69 years Clarice Grant Lewis of Chance, KY
One son: Carson Lewis and wife Linda of Chance, KY
One daughter: Suzzanne Bunch and husband Marshall of Chance, KY
One brother: Harris Lewis of Columbia, KY
Two sisters: Notha Paul Baker of Greensburg, KY and Willow Shelton of Columbia,
KY
Three grandchildren: Theresa (Ricky)Stotts, Sherry (Terry) Phillips, Shawnda (Nathan) Scruggs
Eight great grandchildren Laura, Sarah, Sadie, Kaylee, Brandon, Jonathan, Jordon and Jessica and five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive
Mr. Lewis attended the Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church, he was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a proud farmer in Southern Adair County and an avid foxhunter and a longtime member of the Lake Cumberland Fox Hunters Association
