Priscella N. Brown passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Liberty Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was 87.
Born June 19, 1928 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Bessie Norman Mills. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Liberty Sportswear. Priscella loved to sing in church and was a charter member of the Rheber Nazarene Church. She was a great Mom.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Mike (and Marsha) Brown of Louisville and Gary Brown of Yosemite; a daughter, Alma Crockett of Jenkins; nine grandchildren, Tim, Troy, Tammy, Christy, Melissa, Meaghan, Morgan, Zach, and Paula; nineteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Mills of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Brown, who died December 26, 1992; one daughter; one son; a grandson, David Crockett; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 4, 2015 at the Rheber Nazarene Church with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Mrs. Priscella Brown will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and will continue Monday from 8:00-10:30A.M. at the funeral home.
