Peggy Sue Hughes, age 78, of Nancy, KY, departed this life on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her residence.
Peggy was born on September 26, 1937 in Micco, West Virginia to the late Pearlie Sesco and Mary Wiley Sias.
She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Wendell Sias of Columbus, OH and Artie Shaw Sias of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Betty Lee Jones of Gurdon, AR, and Sarah Anice Jones of Gurdon, AR.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Mitchell Hughes, whom she married on August 12, 1960 in Sarah Ann, WV and he also passed away on January 23, 2016; two sisters, Gertrude Phillips, and Lilly Mae Dalton; three brothers, Paul Edward Sias, Ervin Sias, Sesco Sias, and David Sias; and an infant brother, Edgar Sias.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow the visitation on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Dishman officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memory Garden in Chapmanville, West Virginia on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:00pm.
