Oscar Lee Spalding, Age 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, March 04, 2016 at his residence. He was born on March 16, 1934, in Lebanon, KY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a retired Employee of Angel Mfg. and was a former Kroger employee.
He is preceded in death by: Parents: Edward Bert and Emma Gertrude Abell Spalding. Four Brothers-- David Spalding, Bro. Fidelis Spalding , William “Bill” Spalding and Fabian Spalding. Two Sisters-- Georgia Lee Spalding, and Aileen Ryan.
He is survived by: Wife-- Susan Barbara Spalding –Lebanon, Ky. Three Sons-- Jeff Spalding (Staci) –Greensburg, Ky. ` Mark Spalding (Pam) –Lebanon, Ky. Carey Spalding (Juanita) – Lexington, Ky. Daughter-- Marcia Morgeson (Mike) –Lebanon, Ky. Sister-- Jewel McCauley (Garland) –Louisville, Ky.
Also surviving are thirteen Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the St. Augustine Church Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard. Visitations will be held from 4:00-8:30 P.M. on Monday, March 07, 2016 at Bosley Funeral Home.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday at Bosley Funeral Home by Deacon Joe Dant.
