Nancy graduated from Columbia High School, Lindsey Wilson College, and Centre College with a degree in History. She was a member of Eastern Star, several genealogical societies, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Columbia Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years, a member of the WMU and Piecemakers Quilters. In DAR, she was a former Regent of the Jane Lampton Chapter.
Survived by son, Mark (Susan) Willis of Adair Co.; daughters, Beverly (Donald) Rothenberger of Mecosta, MI, Brenna (Jeff) Taylor of Montgomery, TX, Jaime (Bruce) White and Rose Willis of Adair Co., Theresa West of Lexington, KY, and Robin (Ken) Hill of Cypress, TX; and sister, Mattie (Byron) Watkins of Madisonville, KY. Grandchildren: Joseph Murray, Amanda Murray, Julie Eshleman, Stephanie Jahnz, Michael Taylor, Josh Willis, Jordan Willis, Wesley Feese, Kara Iqbal, Laura Feese, Rachel Hill and Nathan Hill. Great-grandchildren: Eli Iqbal and Reagan Eshleman. A third great-grandchild, Eva Iqbal, is expected in September.
Funeral service Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Burial at Murray Todd Cemetery on the family farm. Doctor Bill Scott and Reverend Ken Hill, officiating.
