Mrs. Wanda Marie Montgomery Brewer of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Montgomery and Lovie Crawford Montgomery, was born on February 22, 1943 in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home. She was 72 years, seven months, and 18 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc.
She united in marriage to William Howard Brewer on May 25, 1968 who preceded her in death on August 8, 2013.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and William Dowell, and Cathy and Alan Budd all of Summersville; two grandchildren: Bridget Morgan and her husband, Jon, and Rylie Budd all of Summersville; two great-grandchildren: Breanna Morgan and Emma Morgan both of Summersville; a sister: Louise Scott of Edmonton; a brother: Calvin Montgomery of Lebanon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Brewer was also preceded in death by a sister: Helen Montgomery and two grandchildren.
The funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Marie Montgomery Brewer will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bennett Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Noe will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M., Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
