Born on September 11, 1934, in Attica, Indiana, he was a son of the late David Thomas and Estalee Bennett Morgan. Bud was a United States Air Force veteran. He served as deputy policeman in Otterbein and Pine Village, Indiana in 1958-1959. Bud also worked for a year in 1961 in the oil fields of Stanford, Kentucky, for Earl Pyle Oil Fields. Bud was retired when he met and married his loving wife, Mabel, and they lived in Russell Springs from that point forward.
He is survived by 7 children 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Son Jason Morgan 47 and wife Tammy of Shelbyville, IN, Son, Marlon Morgan, 51 and wife Brandi of Lafayette, IN, Daughter, Thea Martin 64, and partner David Munson of Kyle, TX, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, Daughter Denise Morgan and partner Johnny, 65, of Ellenton, FL, 2 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, Daughter Mary Ratcliff and husband Tim. 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Daughter Anna Jean Morgan 63, CA, 1 grandchild, two sisters, Anna Pyle of Oakland, California and Mary Clement of Lafayette, Indiana; and a half-brother, Mike Stetler of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Eileen Mason Morgan, who passed away on January 7, 2018.
