She loved to cook and sew. Mildred also enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Shell; one son, Jeff Caffee of Junction city; one daughter, Alice Caffee of Hustonville; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchidlren.
In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by one son, Clifford Caffee;two daughters, Penny Caffee, and a stillborn, four brothers, Gilbert Crockett, Alton Crockett, Raymond Crockett, and Hubert Crockett; and one sister, Viney Crockett.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Green River Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family offest funeral expenses.
