He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. He was a past Sunday School Superintendent and sang in the choir. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Besides his father he is preceded in death by one son: Jamaal Wood.
He is survived by his mother: Addie Miller Wood of Greensburg, one son: Tobey Wood of Greensburg, one daughter: Faun Crenshaw of Campbellsville, one sister: Jacqueline Wood of Grand Prairie, Texas and one brother: Tyler Wood of Grand Prairie, Texas, four grandchildren: Kobie, Brooks and Skylar Wood and Keeley Crenshaw and a friend: Mary Sebastian Wood, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation and Wake: After 9 a.m. Central Time Monday until the funeral hour.
