Mavis Eljean Pierce Wesley, 79, departed this life on December 11, 2015 to go home to be with her heavenly father & Jesus Christ her savior. She will be missed but she is rejoicing in Heaven with her loved ones already there.
Mavis is survived by; two daughters, Janet (and Mike) Cundiff, and Jennifer Wesley; two granddaughters, Angela Cundiff and Amy (and Thomas) Fenwick. She is also survived by; one sister, Lois Ard Parro of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by; her loving husband, Norman Lee Wesley; her mother and father, Hugh and Otha Burton Ard Pierce; three brothers, Warren, Garvel, and Robert T. Ard; and one sister, Berniece Gregory.
Mavis was a member of the Langdon Street Baptist church. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Tarter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation at the Pulaski Funeral Home Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
