Matthew Paul Summers, age 41 passed away on Sunday. June 28, 2015 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Chicago, IL.
Matt was born in Lebanon, KY and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jessie Barnett. He grew up in Marion, VA and moved to Norton in 1987 and later to Spokane, Washington where he graduated high school from Deer Park High School. He attended Spokane Falls Junior College and Mountain Empire Community College. He was currently employed as a warehouse manager with Costco in Chicago, IL. He was an adventurous person who liked BMW motorcycles, bungee & base jumping, and had traveled the world extensively.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday July 3, 2015 at the Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion, VA. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6- 8 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday July 4, 2015 at the Pellyton Cemetery in Adair County, KY. Local arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
