She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington United Methodist Church.
She loved everybody and especially enjoyed quilting and working in her flowers.
She united in marriage to Stanley Marcum January 7, 1936 and he preceded her in death December 9, 1987.
Mary is survived by a special niece, Linda Atwood of Campbellsville;a special cousin, Audra Riggs of Campbellsville; several other nieces and nephews: Edna Akers, Doris Key, Sandra Lambert and Denise Lee of Indiana, Donna Mershon, Hilda Garner and Sandra Keltner of Campbellsville, Debbie Rakes and Dale Shofner of Lebanon and Daryl Shofner of Winchester and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Otha Lee Wise, Ethel Cox, Ruby Shofner and Helen Hash and her step-mother, Hettie Wise.
