Mary Jo (Goodin) Owens

Mary Jo Owens, 75, of Windsor, Ky. died Monday,July 6, 2015 at her home. She was born March 8, 1940 in Casey County to the late Hobert & Hattie Buchanan Goodin.

Nan, as she was called by her grandchildren, was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She served in ministry as the wife of a pastor for more than 40 years and was a faithful member of the Carter Ridge Baptist Church in Mintonville, Ky.

She had a gentle spirit, a loving heart and was a living example of a true Proverbs 31 wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Owens.

                 James Goodin, Somerset, Ky

Funeral service for Mary Jo Owens will be 1 PM. CDT. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Josh Owens and Bro. Reggie Tipton officiating.

Visitation after 5 PM. CDT. Tuesday.
Burial in the Cedar Springs Cemetery
