Mary G. “Gerry” Long Grant, of Ohio passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 80.
Born March 31, 1935 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Willie Virgil and Ellie Hicks Long.
Survivors include two daughters, Debi (Jim Engel) Ante and Cindy (Steve) Franzen, four grandchildren, Denise Ante- Mason, Jarrod (and Susan ) Ante, Justin (Emily) Franzen, and Rachel (Jacob) Klapheke; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Collin, Noah, and Barrett; four siblings, Eddie Long, Marcella Clements, Jesse Long, and William Long; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifton Ray Grant; and six siblings, Violet Adams, Kathleen Campbell and Marshall, David, Vatis and Vitus Long; and a dear friend, Robert Webb.
Visitation is Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine Street, in Carthage, Ohio and at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Casey County, KY, Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 2:00 until funeral service at 3:00 P.M . Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery.
