Mary Elizabeth “Cookie” Sneed, age 54, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (December 19, 2015) at her residence in Falls of Rough, KY.
She was born on November 9, 1961 in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late James Mason Bucher and Julie Irene Morris Bucher.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing and writing. She had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh. She married the love of her life, Lonnie Sneed, Sr. in 1977.
She is survived by her husband, Lonny Sneed, Sr. of Falls of Rough; three sons, Lonnie Ray Thomas Sneed, Jr. of Bowling Green, Bradley Thomas Sneed Sr. (Amanda) of Falls of Rough, and Eric Thomas Sneed (Heather) of Bowling Green; one daughter, Laura Beth Sneed of Bowling Green; one brother, Stevie Bucher of Bowling Green; four sisters, Debbie Compton (Dennie) of Bowling Green, Peggy Payne (Jimmy) of Bowling Green, Regina Glenn (Mike) of Bowling Green, and Helen Kay Smith (Chris) of Owensboro; twelve grandchildren, Elijah Sneed, Summer Sneed, Caitlin Walters, Bradley Sneed, Jr., Kadance Craft, Kelsey Sneed, Ashton Craft, Kaleb Sneed, Jaden Sneed, Mason Sneed, Braydon Sneed, and Aidon Sneed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Mason and Julie Irene Bucher.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m. noon Sunday, (December 20, 2015) at the family farm at 1650 Green Farms Road, Falls of Rough. Bro. Roger Allen will be officiating.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at her home at 12715 Falls of Rough Road in Falls of Rough, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with services following at the graveside.
