MARIE DICKSON 79 years of the Prices Creek Community of Adair County, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 5:00 PM at her home after several months illness.
She was born September 19, 1935 the daughter of the late: Charlie and Emma Shirley Dickson of Adair County, Kentucky
Preceded in death by her parents and one brother Ernest Dickson in 2000 and one sister Lula Mae Bragg in 2000 by one niece Verda Bragg Shirley and one nephew Cecil Dickson
Survived by two brothers:
Carl Dickson of Edmonton, KY
Fred Dickson and wife Myrtle of Edmonton, KY
One sister- in- law Ruby Dickson of Glasgow, KY
Nieces and nephews, Howard (Sue) Dickson, Linda (Johnny) Wilson, Geneva (Coy) England, Brenda (Vernon) Bennett, Danny (Loretta) Dickson, Shelia (Mike) Davis, Lisa (Jerry) Bennett, Judy (Doug) Spears, Loretta (Elbert) Pennington
Survived by many great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews
Charlotte Bragg a friend who assisted her for the past several months of her illness, also survived by her church family and many friends
Miss Dickson was an active and faithful member and pianist for several years of the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Adair County. Marie worked in the Adair County School System for over 20 years as a cook and cafeteria manager.
Funeral service: Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2116 Prices Creek Road, Edmonton, KY

Interment in the Shirley-Dickson Cemetery
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY
