Mallie (Massengale) Wright

Mallie Wright, 102, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital. She was born March 25, 1913 in Clinton County to the late Clayborn & Lizzie Frost Massengale.

She was a homemaker and a member of French Valley United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Oda Sherman Wright and a son, Knox Wright.

Survivors include
daughter: Betty Overstreet, Russell Springs
grandson: Gary (Lisa) Overstreet, Mt. Washington, Ky
2 great grandchildren: Zachary Overstreet, Andrew Overstreet
1 great great grandchild: Makenzie Overstreet

Funeral service for Mallie Wright will be 1 PM. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the French Valley United Methodist Church with Bro. Barry Bradshaw and Bro. Charles Edwards officiating.

Visitation after 5 PM. Thursday at  Bernard Funeral Home and after 12 PM. Friday at the church. Interment in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Zach Overstreet, Andrew Overstreet, Jon Brock, Jerry Stearns, Dexter Marcum, Lonnie Marcum

The family requests memorials to the French Valley United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
