
Born September 12, 1935 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Blanche Tarter Ware. He was a farmer and construction worker. Lucian was a member of the Sanders Chapel Separate Baptist Church. He loved singing gospel music and was a member of the Crossroads Quartet for 42 years.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Genevee Woody Ware of Columbia; three grandsons, Alex, Alan, and Ethan Ware; a brother, Cecil Ware of Liberty; and a sister, Betty and (Jim) Tucker of Franklin, Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Rodney Ware.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 19, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral home with Bros. Danny Bailey, David Coffey, and Steve Corbin officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
