Lola Arleen Jessee, 91, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 10:55 A.M. at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center.
She was born June 14, 1924, in Metcalfe County, to the late Edward and Millie Jane Sparks Jessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Autrice Jessee, her daughter, Janice Marie Turner and a grandson, Tyler Jessee.
She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from Columbia Windows.
Survivors include:
Two sons – Wendell (Jeanie) Jessee of Danville, Tony (Julie) Jessee of Columbia
One brother – John Benjamin Jessee of Louisville
One sister – Edra Nell “Bobbie” Collins of Columbia
Four grandchildren, one step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren
Funeral service – Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. William Davenport, Rev. Kenneth Jessee and Rev. Steve Pescosolido officiating
Burial in Antioch Cemetery
Visitation on Monday from 4-8pm and after 9am, Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church
