Lisa Lou Green 49 of Scottsburg, IN and formerly of Glasgow died Friday, November 6, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. She was born in Glasgow the daughter of Teddy Ballard and Lou Ella Emmitt Ballard of Glasgow who survive.
Lisa was the office manager for Scott County YMCA in Scottsburg for almost 10 years. She received her accounting degree from Ivy Tech State College in 2005 and was a member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Metcalfe County.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Bill "William" Green whom she married Dec. 28, 1985; daughter Bridgett Green (Lee Taylor) of Scottsburg; son B. J. Green (Ashley) of Scottsburg; 2 brothers Teddy Lee (Connie) Ballard and Matthew (Elizabeth) Ballard of Glasgow; 2 sisters Loretta Lynn (John) Combs and Tonya Renee (Marty) McClellan both of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Kamryn Taylor Green, Jacob Green and Kylie Green and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A brother Thomas Wayne Ballard preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Monday, Nov. 9th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 until services.
